Work You ll Do
As an HR Strategy Senior Consultant, you will use your knowledge of and experience with HR strategy, capability, and service delivery to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Leading aspects of the project, including monitoring and identifying any project issues to mitigate risk
Maintaining a hands-on role to ensure quality work products are delivered to target deadlines
Leading and mentoring the team to deliver superior results for the client
Building your reputation within the firm and in the market for the HR Strategy knowledge you possess in Shared Services, Operating Models, Digital Strategy and/or Employee Experience
Forging strong relationships with both clients and project teams that will contribute to your growth and development
Actively shaping and supporting a culture of diversity and inclusiveness for Deloitte practitioners
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated knowledge of HR functions & processes, with experience in one or more of the following areas: HR Strategy, HR Employee Experience, HR Operating Models, HR Outsourcing Advisory, HR Technology and/or Digital Strategy
Established knowledge of Human Capital fundamentals
Experience leading current/future state road mapping, requirements gathering workshops, running labs, and/or facilitating meetings
Performed quantitative/qualitative analysis and led discussions on proposed solutions with clients
Completed Bachelors degree
Travel up to 80% (while 80% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
External consulting experience for a Big 4 firm or large consulting company
Demonstrated interest in a profession in Human Resources through professional organizations, coursework, certifications, conference attendance, etc.
Ability to structure work and drive towards project outcomes and deliverables
A self-directed individual with strong organization skills and attention to details
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Exceptional analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset
Experience in project planning, budget oversight and staffing of project teams
Ability to collaborate across different workstreams and geographies when needed
Experience in mentoring, training and developing junior members of the team
Exemplary in leadership accountability and professionalism
Advanced degree in related specialization area
Industry knowledge a plus (Consumer, Financial Services, Life Science & Healthcare, Energy, Resources & Industrial, and/or Technology, Media & Telecommunications)
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel)
