Deloitte Consulting's Financial Services Industry Practice offers a broad range of advisory services including strategic, regulatory, mergers and acquisitions, risk management and management consulting to clients in many financial industries including banking, insurance, securities and asset management.
The Banking Consulting practice provides services to major US and global banks and works in virtually all banking areas and competencies, including retail banking, mortgage and lending, payments and wholesale banking.
The Insurance Consulting practice provides support to major insurers around the globe and works in virtually all service areas and competencies. We provide strategic, operational, financial, and technology related advisory services to Life, P&C, Reinsurance and Insurance Brokerage firms.
The Securities Consulting practice provides support to major investment banks, brokerages and exchanges around the globe. The primary business activities of these clients include underwriting new stock and bond issues to the primary market, broker/dealer services exchanging securities in the secondary market, and settling securities trades, asset management and wealth management.
The Asset Management and Real Estate practice provides support to investment managers, asset servicers, REITs, and real estate developers across the globe. We provide these firms with a broad set of strategic, operational, financial and technology services.
Work you ll do
As an Organizational Change Management - Financial Services Senior Manager, you will use data-driven solutions to address the human factors affecting an organization s availability to reach its strategic objectives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Oversee the development of frameworks that support improved client future-state organizational design and alignment
Utilize job descriptions and profiles to create organizational career maps and succession plans
Link competencies and matrices covering job responsibilities and tasks, accountabilities, and competency definitions and behavioral descriptors
Oversee user adoption programs for technology implementation initiatives
Develop integrated, targeted and repeatable approaches to manage change leadership and work force transition aspects associated with large-scale organization transformation initiatives
Select, formulate or modify processes associated with sourcing, staffing and talent management processes for clients
Lead and contribute to practice development initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, tools and methods development, etc.
Responsible for business development efforts, including Statements of Work (SOW), proposal development, client presentations, etc.
Build relationships with peers, leaders, and clients to identify and connect to business development opportunities
Grow the market for Human Capital solutions in the financial services space
Act in a mentoring capacity to support the career development of OT&T colleagues
The Organization Transformation practice is about transforming the organization (and the benefits providers that serve them) to support its business strategy. This involves helping our clients move from where they are today to where they need to be in the future. It could include changing the organization s culture, modernizing specific functions, re-designing the organization structure, and will require a combination of change management actions to execute the transformation. To enable our success, it will be critical to use data and insights to inform better ways of working together.
Minimum eight (8) years relevant experience in a consulting or industry role, with at least two (2) years relevant experience in an external consulting role
Minimum four (4) years of experience leading multiple project teams simultaneously on relevant engagements
Proven experience in business development in support of related specialty areas
Ability to travel 80-100% of the time (Monday Thursday/Friday)
Strong industry experience in Financial Services, including banking, insurance, and/or securities
Strong project management and delivery experience, including budget oversight and staffing of project teams including time management
Project delivery and management experience in large scale technology enabled transformation programs, utilizing leading edge delivery methods including Agile and Design Thinking
Advanced degree in related specialization area
Previous experience mentoring, training and developing junior members of the team; experience in employee performance reviews
Demonstrated interest in a profession in Human Capital work through professional organizations, coursework, certifications, conference attendance, etc.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel)
