Deloitte Enterprise Data Architecture Manager, Audit & Assurance Products and Solutions in Charlotte, North Carolina

As an Enterprise DataArchitecture Manager in the Audit & Assurance Products and Solutions Group,youwillbe responsible forpartnering with the Enterprise DataArchitecture Leader, product portfolio management teams, and solutionarchitects in an agile environment, to deliver Enterprise Data Architectureartifacts & solutionsfor high performance and scalability in a cloud-based ecosystem. This includesan expectation for thought leadership on projects requiring extensiverequirements gathering, data analysis, data modeling, ETL, datadesign/development and testing. You willalso participate in ongoing development and implementation of data managementstandards, processes and technologies.

Workyou'll do

  • Designand deploy data architectures which driveAudit & Assurance sdata strategy implementation and transform business strategies into informationarchitectures.

  • Oversee the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of masterdata, including rationalization and management of data across the fulllifecycle

  • Implement appropriate technical approaches for master datamanagement and integration solutions

  • Translate business requirements into information requirements:develop information models in support of development teams, develop data flowdiagrams in order to ensure data quality

  • Drive commonality and implement Master data management practices,solutions and monitor its usage throughout the organization

  • Create Enterprise Data Architecture recommendations: structured& unstructured data; data lineage, data flow and pipelines; data modeling;metadata; NoSQL & graph database technologies

  • Responsible for building out the data architecture platforms, e.g.data discovery & classification, federated data catalog & lineage,methodology, frameworks & enterprise data architecture team

  • Define, analyze, catalog and transform data lineage & flowsacross a large, complex, global data landscape

  • Define appropriate enterprise data artifacts and oversees theircreation & validation

  • Collaborate with and influences solution architects, engineers& delivery teams to adopt enterprise data architecture specifications insolutions

  • Work closely with Design and Program Management teams in an agileenvironment, to deliver data products to market.

  • Experience documenting cross-application data flows and analyzingsolution data requirements.

  • Identify emerging trends and evaluate/recommend tools andtechnologies that will contribute to ongoing growth of data needs.

  • Partner with Cloud Architects and DevOps Teams to design andimplement scalable data infrastructure solutions

  • Limited travel might be required

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business MIS, or equivalent experience.

  • 5 years of Enterprise Data Architecture, data integration, data strategy consulting or equivalent data management experience

  • Three (3) years direct experience in MDM analysis, design, development, support and operations with a leading MDM tool suite required

Preferred:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, features and drive management of our data products

  • Building sustainable relationships with colleagues and key individuals.

  • Creativity and ability to think outside-the-box while defining sound and practical solutions.

  • Desire to take the initiative, moving projects/ideas forward with clarity.

  • Adept negotiation skills in high-pressure situations.

  • Thorough understanding of deterministic and probabilistic (fuzzy) matching methodologies and master data hierarchy management

  • Experience with Modern Data Warehouse Principles and Design

  • Knowledge of how to incorporate Master Data strategies in solutions; such as data services, de-duplication, survivorship and data archiving

  • Understanding of ETL/ Data Flow Principles.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work in fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions, including Data lake, IaaS and Azure SQL.

  • Strong knowledge of Informatica Master Data and Data Quality platforms.

  • Experience with using CA Erwin to develop Enterprise Data Models.

  • Experience with SAFe Agile Methodology a plus

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in delivery of new products or services

  • Ability to create effective architecture recommendations and present complex information concisely through written/verbal communication

  • Strong leadership skills to help influence and drive the adoption of a complex, enterprise-wide data ecosystem

  • Experience in Audit or Financial Services preferred with aptitude and interest in innovative technological solutions
