Job Overview

This position is responsible for managing the overall direction, program management, and day-to-day operations of the Deloitte Consulting Graduate School Assistance Program (GSAP). The role requires interaction with multiple key stakeholders, US, and USI support personnel. Operates day-to-day at the intersection of the business, Talent, Recruiting, and Level Programs. Effectiveness of the person in this role is highly dependent on the person's ability to drive innovation and manage a consistent, exceptional experience for practitioners throughout the GSAP lifecycle (applying for, participating in, or alumni of the Program).

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the overall strategic direction and day-to day implementation of the Deloitte Consulting Graduate School Assistance Program (GSAP). The person in this role will collaborate/interface with key business leaders, Talent Business Advisors, Recruiting, Finance and Legal to ensure a consistent and exceptional GSAP experience. The person will lead execution of Program specific tasks including but not limited to the day-to-day operations and program management, including:

  • Leading and directly managing all aspects of GSAP across all Consulting Offering Portfolios throughout the GSAP lifecycle from application, to acceptance, to departure, to return from graduate school

  • Coordinating across GSAP leadership from all participating programs/practices (i.e. Commercial and GPS)

  • Manage all tuition reimbursement payments for both returning GSAP and Former Summer Associate practitioners

  • Serving as a primary program point of contact and liaison with the Talent, Resource Management, Legal, Finance, and Recruiting Teams on all matters related to GSAP

  • Track, analyze, and report key GSAP-related statistics to key stakeholders across Consulting, Talent, and Recruiting

  • Maintaining and enforcing program guidelines, processes, and policies consistently across Consulting practice areas

  • Providing leadership and administrative support for GSAP and Graduate School Preparation activities/initiatives such as the Graduate School Symposium event, GSAP Send-off, GSAP Reconnect etc.

  • Perform overall advisor responsibilities for the national peer leadership council (Graduate School Preparation Council)

  • Communicate with GSAPers and respond to program inquiries, including escalation of exception cases to appropriate program leadership

  • Managing junior specialists (US and USI) to complete the administrative and operational components of program activities including Application, Departure, and Tuition Reimbursement

  • Support the broader Consulting Talent team on both strategic and administrative matters related to GSAP

  • Working with the GSAP sponsors and Consulting business and talent leadership to continually assess and evolve the program to best meet Consulting's strategic talent and business priorities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor in Business Administration, Human Resources, or the equivalent required.

  • 5 - 7+ years of prior generalist experience in a consultative capacity with client service professionals. MBA is preferred, but not required.

  • Candidate must be a self-starter, proactive and solution-oriented, with strong strategic thinking, management, and communication skills.

  • Candidate must possess:

  • Strong project management skills including strong organization, prioritization and time management skills

  • Experience managing teams

  • A high level of intellectual curiosity and versatility

  • Computer literacy including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications
