Work you ll do

As a Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist Senior, you ll work with members of our human experience platform and brand and advertising teams to improve the effectiveness of marketing efforts across all our of clients assets. In this role you will lead ideation and execution of split testing and marketing optimization projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform audits of clients web analytics implementations and make recommendations to ensure accurate tracking/tagging is in place.

  • Use qualitative and quantitative sources of data to develop and execute a conversion rate optimization strategies and testing plans for our clients across multiple channels including SEO and Customer Acquisition, including path to conversion for cart optimization and abandonment.

  • Develop hypotheses and build and execute A/B or multivariate tests according to the optimization strategy and testing plan.

  • Marry your knowledge of ideal audience pathing with SEO targeting to develop a conversion rate optimization plan that will convert relevant users as we acquire them.

  • Partner with our internal design, SEO and development teams to recommend changes based on winning test results.

  • Tackle challenges and solve complex problems on a daily basis.

You ll be an important asset that works cross-functionally across the various groups within Deloitte Digital s Advertising, Marketing, & Commerce group.   • Bachelor s degree

  • 5 years experience optimizing customer journey through data driven design, user-centered design and user testing in a client-facing role either at a SaaS platform vendor, a consulting firm or an agency, preferably supporting new business/pursuits

  • 5 years of Testing and Optimization experience within the digital marketing space, with experience in split testing and optimization campaigns across multiple channels (including paid search, organic search, social and email)

  • 5 years of site-side analytics experience, including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or Optimizely

  • Travel up to 80% (While 80% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future


  • 1 years configuring SEO campaigns

  • Strong understanding of how advertising, landing pages and conversion rate optimization work together, specifically across verticals like E-commerce, Retail, Finance & Insurance, Automotive, and Travel

  • Proven analytical skills and advanced knowledge of excel

  • Strong background in probability and statistics

  • Knowledge of online marketing strategies and tactics

  • Working knowledge of performance analysis and optimization, landing page code and content analysis, product development, usability or UX

  • Demonstrated experience with test design and experiment planning

  • Ability to think creatively and strategically

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to streamline information for varied audiences, including executive leadership
