Deloitte Consultant/Senior Consultant - Structured Finance in Charlotte, North Carolina
As a senior consultant, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience to help solve clients complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support issuers and other structured finance participants in designing and implementing financial technology solutions.
Work with clients to build financial cash flow and allocation models on new technologies including Deloitte s proprietary ABS Suite.
Design and implement reports for clients to manage their structured finance program
Prepare and present complex written and verbal materials such as reports, findings, and systems training.
Analyze and advise clients to streamline operations, automate tasks, and improve processes in their finance, accounting, and operations functions.
Advise clients on tailored solutions for their regulatory reporting and infrastructure needs.
Understand client s business environment and basic risk management approaches.
Demonstrate a general knowledge of structured finance market trends, competitor activities, products and service lines.
Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement asset management products and services.
Be on the forefront of new technology in the structured finance industry.
Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent);
Demonstrated ability to understand and create structured solutions to complex problems;
Experience in financial cash flow modeling;
Experience reading legal documents or other complex documents;
Exposure to the system development lifecycle;
Experience using Microsoft Excel and querying databases;
Experience improving business processes and modeling/translate financial concepts;
Experience with financial products;
Excellent professional oral and written communication skills in order to establish working relationships with client personnel;
A keen interest in technology and structured finance.
Experience in the structured finance marketplace;
Coursework or experience with a programming language
