Seeking an experienced contingent workforce senior professional who can deliver a high-touch, personalized candidate experience across Deloitte Open Talent's internal clients and stakeholders. Looking for a strategic, innovative professional who is progressive and can lead from the front by being authentic, agile, connected and technologically bold in all areas of Independent Contractor (IC) and Contingent Workforce Management.

Work you'll do Deloitte Open Talent (DOT) is looking for a highly motivated, contingent workforce senior professional to join our amazing team. Our goal is to deliver direct sourced, contingent talent solutions for Deloitte project teams. The ideal person has exposure to contingent workforce programs at other F100 companies or client environments, understands how to execute on team initiatives with strong results, and a point of view related to contingent workforce industry and trends.

Key Role Description : The Relationship Manager ("RM") is the key point of contact for the service line and manages key relationships both internally and externally. RMs are knowledgeable on contingent workforce landscape trends, compliance/CW policies, talent market and able to handle complex issues. The RM is responsible for driving strategy, leading others, and providing high level overview of options around contingent workforce.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Project teams/Business Leaders, Acquisition Leaders, Lead Talent Directors (LTDs) and Resource Managers to assist clients in the contingent workforce planning process by providing expertise, strategy and guidance associated with varied contingent staffing models that enable and support our Total Talent Management strategy within Talent Acquisition.

  • Enable the ability to meet future talent demand with more cost-savings and versatile options. Deploy solutions, methodologies and processes for recruiting, sourcing, and nurturing contractor-based talent against current and future demand.

  • Develop the overall sourcing and recruiting strategy with our partners, vendors and sourcing team leads to better enable a fully leveraged and optimized contingent workforce channel strategy. Assess new strategies and options that need to be implemented to keep pace with demand.

  • Meet with engagement teams to assess current and future demand needs and assess if DOT may provide viable solutions. Ensure recruiting and sourcing is active and engaged on any open requisitions.

  • Meet weekly with DOT recruiting & sourcing teams as well as suppliers to report out on current pipeline. Leverage DOT tools and reporting methods to accurately track lifecycle of orders.

  • Gather and assess information about our current workforce to determine future staffing projections while understanding the profiles needed. Assess DOT talent pools and communities are adequate or if additional sourcing is necessary for any specialized skill sets. Drive ideas around new sourcing approaches, communities and outlets. Identify internal and external best practices and assist in building internal eminence for innovative workforce solutions deployed at Deloitte.

  • Collaborate with the sourcing and recruiting team leads when introducing new tools or solutions. Drive adoption of new tools for teams.

  • Lead and educate your designated business leaders and engagement teams to understand the compliance measures and policies associated with leveraging independent contractors. Partner closely with Legal and Risk to monitor and manage contractor compliance.

  • Attend conferences to represent DOT and attract new candidates as well as gather benchmarking and competitive intelligence. Present results and make strategic recommendations to DOT leader.

  • Work closely with marketing/branding lead to fully leverage branding opportunities, develop new campaigns as well as identifying new channels to market contingent openings.



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • Minimum 6 years of related experience

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.


  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

  • Comfortable working in a highly matrix' d environment

  • Strong strategic-thinking skills

  • Proven track record in sourcing strategy development and/or execution

  • Strong external networking skills

  • Experience leading and managing high profile recruiting

  • Demonstrated leadership and success in managing teams

  • Self-starter and ability to influence others

  • Microsoft Office and applicant tracking system, VMS, Marketplaces, and other cutting edge sourcing application skills

    For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $95,000 to $127,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
