Deloitte Platform Engineer in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania

Work you'll do

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to build and deliver an innovative, game-changing software factory platform that developers love to use.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Ability to support a large and diverse PaaS infrastructure

  • Demonstrated expertise with GitLab / Jenkins / or other CICD capabilities

  • Experience with code scanners and infrastructure monitoring (e.g. Splunk or ELK)

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. CloudFormation or Terraform)

  • Expertise in container-based environments (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

  • Experience implementing security controls to ensure code complies with security and compliance frameworks

  • Track record of automation of infrastructure provisioning

  • Interest and experience using a multitude of open source platforms and cloud technologies

  • Ability to document CICD resources and improve system maintainability

  • Troubleshoot build failures, environment issues, and technical blockers with agile team members

  • Strong preference for microservice architectures - interested or experienced leveraging Envoy and Istio

  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

  • A product company mindset to design and lead development of reusable components

The GPS Analytics and Cognitive (A&C) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

• 3+ years of experience of Kubernetes experience

Preferred:

  • AWS/Azure Professional Certifications

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) / Developer (CKD) / Security (CKS)

  • Familiarity with IL5 and IL6 deployment and security processes
