Deloitte CLO Program Research and Insights Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

The team

The U.S. Chief Legal Officer (“CLO”) Program is a strategic growth platform for Deloitte LLP (“Deloitte”) to execute its vision "to be recognized as the pre-eminent advisor to the CLO." The CLO Program aims to enhance Deloitte's CLO market position by focusing on the specific challenges, needs and demands CLOs face, and equipping our Deloitte colleagues to build and sustain meaningful relationships with CLOs and senior legal, legal operations and compliance executives of key and target clients. The CLO Program accomplishes this through an outstanding portfolio of initiatives and offerings, training curriculum, points of view, market information and service solutions.

Work you’ll do

The Research and Insights Manager will have knowledge of and experience in the legal profession and a thorough understanding of Deloitte’s ability to serve and advise legal executives. The Research and Insights Manager will be responsible for executing on the CLO Program eminence strategy and providing strategic and program management support to the Research and Insights Director. The Research and Insights Manager will have opportunities to work directly with clients, with senior leaders in our firm, and external research teams to support the CLO Program eminence agenda and overall CLO Program vision. The Research and Eminence Manager will collaborate with the eminence teams throughout the firm, and especially in the other role-based programs and will support the Learning Center offering of the CLO Program.

Support CLO Program Eminence Strategy

  • Work with Research and Insights Director to set eminence strategy and build editorial calendar

  • Provide support to research agenda; Engage with marketing colleagues and Deloitte-side contacts for eminence placement in internal and external publications

  • Assist Research and Insights director in developing content for client offerings and events (e.g., Learning Center, eminence/insights, Academy, labs, etc.) in line with what is top of mind for executives and inclusive of cutting-edge original content (e.g., research and insights)

  • Engage in a social dialogue and be a Deloitte brand ambassador using social media (i.e. Twitter, LinkedIn), and other distribution channels to share insights with executives

  • Manage requests from stakeholders and CLO Program leadership team; Facilitate the dissemination of CLO Program content across the firm

  • Lead selected strategic initiatives related to realizing the CLO Program eminence strategy and vision

Manage Day-to-Day CLO Program Learning Center Offering

  • Manage Learning Center catalog, including current offerings and facilitators; Work with CLO Program team to develop innovative new offerings and sunset old offerings, as appropriate

  • Responsible for Learning Center program scheduling, staffing facilitators and logistical support/staffing

  • Develop and implement Learning Center follow up protocol and managing and maintaining Learning center data and metrics

  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the Learning Center’s pipeline in Salesforce which includes tracking open opportunities, summarizing the deliveries, and leveraging the tool’s capability to enhance process management - all the while maintaining data integrity

  • Maintain forward-looking calendar of all key program events and activities, and ensure appropriate staffing/support for successful execution

Support CLO Program Strategy

  • Engage in client events (e.g., Labs, Academies, other events) and with clients to keep a pulse on client executive agendas – this knowledge is key to ensuring it is embedded in all CLO Program offerings and eminence/insights

  • Network with clients and clearly articulate a Deloitte value proposition (to our clients) that differentiates us in the marketplace

  • Help LCSPs and account teams develop an understanding of how they can use CLO Program eminence and Learning Center content to develop and sustain deep relationships with executives of key clients and support sales opportunities initiated through program offerings, as desired

Engage in cross-Executive Accelerator strategic initiatives

  • Actively participate in cross-Executive Accelerator related conversations to share best practices, learn from other Executive Programs, and collaborate with other Executive Accelerator programs on fact-based research and insight projects

  • Engage in cross-Executive Accelerator initiatives to drive greater collaboration and program value
