Work You ll Do

Provide guidance and instructions to teams of seniors and staff during corporate restructuring and acquisition engagements. Conduct and facilitate meetings between management contacts at client company and target company. Design and delegate due diligence procedures for team members. Hold internal team meetings to receive frequent updates regarding work progress and issues on engagements. Organize comments on Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) and ensure the relevant parties have input into the purchase price construct. Manage engagement budget, including recruiting or assigning appropriate staff, revising budget and staff allocations during the engagement, and extending staff duration on engagements as needed. Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple engagements. Work with the acquiring company and the target companys upper management to conduct field due diligence engagements, and perform complex accounting and due diligence procedures of balance sheets and income statements. Participate in the review and analysis of target companys annual reports and interact with target and client upper management to discuss field deal issues. Perform accounting and due diligence functions on field engagements for major corporate clients, and develop accounting worksheets. Participate in pre-due diligence planning for due diligence engagements, review target companys accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control and conduct due diligence procedures which are sufficient in scope to support deal decisions made by clients. Participate in the preparation of due diligence reports, performing analytical reviews of financial documents and preparing the documentation supporting the due diligence findings. Perform accounting research to solve issues that arise during the course of due diligence engagements.



  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent, including a three-year foreign degree).

  • Four years of accounting and auditing experience.

  • Experience must include four years of:

  • Performing substantive testing on complex areas of clients' balance sheets and income statements;

  • Completing clients' annual reports and interacting with clients to discuss audit issues;

  • Utilizing advanced Excel tools, including Pivot Tables and VLookup;

  • Evaluating non-routine transactions, including accounting estimates, transactions requiring judgement, business acquisitions, disposals of assets and groups of assets, and discontinued operations;

  • Preparing and evaluating financial statements in accordance with identified accounting frameworks, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); and

  • Evaluating clients' financial positions, using financial analysis, ratio analysis, trend analysis, and cash flow analysis.

  • Position requires 30% travel.
