If so, Deloitte is looking for a strong Account Based Marketing Senior Manager to expand our footprint at existing automotive original equipment manufacturer (OEM) accounts, developing and executing marketing strategies that differentiate Deloitte s reputation, nurture client relationships, and create opportunities to drive revenue and the growth objectives of the account teams.

The ideal candidate will be a senior marketing professional with a strong desire to grow in global account based marketing and professional services marketing with an ability to thrive at the intersection of industry and marketing know-how to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of a matrixed global organization.

Responsibilities

As part of Deloitte s industry marketing team, account based marketers focus on growing key accounts and engaging target executives by developing, executing, sustaining, and measuring strategic marketing programs. They drive opportunities by integrating national marketing programs and campaigns at accounts, as well as by building customized and personalized programming and campaigns directly for an account or small group of accounts.

  • Lead account-specific marketing planning aligned to business and account strategies, industry and sector focus areas, and client growth opportunities

  • Create annual marketing campaign plans for target accounts that prioritize the business goals of the account and drive client engagement

  • Shape and recommend marketing campaigns/activations by understanding and having a finger on the pulse of trends in automotive, transportation, and/or high-tech sectors

  • Engage the appropriate global resources in developing and executing campaigns; oversee, in conjunction with creative and marketing delivery resources, delivery of campaigns

  • Oversee the deployment of account-specific marketing tactics, in conjunction with the appropriate global resources, to deliver the right messages at the right time to the right client stakeholders

  • Plan and manage marketing budgets for campaigns; measure and improve return on investment (ROI) of marketing efforts

  • Proactively interface with account leadership and account team members to coordinate, facilitate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities

  • Serve as a marketing leader on the account team directly engaging with account leadership in strategic discussions that impact account strategies; adjust marketing programs and campaign plans, as needed, to maintain alignment to account strategies and goals

  • Share impact stories to demonstrate the brand in action

  • Develop and maintain profiles and key personas for target executive relationships that are monitored and tracked as part of account KPIs and performance measurement

  • Collaborate with the global marketing team, global industry and sector teams, and other account based marketers to leverage best practices, identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness, build a culture of collaboration and, as needed, align marketing programs

  • Identify white space opportunities that align to the account s priorities, to monitor account engagement metrics, determine the effectiveness of account-based marketing, and develop reports on the impact of marketing

  • Be a steward of the Deloitte brand on the account in alignment with the Deloitte brand

  • Serve as a liaison between the account and broader global and domestic Marketing & Communications community; search for ways to enhance collaboration between and among account and non-account marketing professionals

Skills and Competencies

  • Deep understanding of account based marketing and its strategies including relationship management, marketing automation and campaign-driven marketing approaches

  • Strong understanding of and ability to integrate key marketing technologies into day-to-day job responsibilities including, but not limited to CRM, Marketing Automation, CX, analytics, email marketing, and Workfront

  • Background in, and understanding of, trends impacting automotive, transportation, high-tech and/or other industries converging on the business of moving people and goods

  • Executive presence and demonstrated ability to take initiative

  • Sales-driven, with capability and experience working directly with senior account leaders and client executives

  • Effective listening and strong persuasive communication skills

  • Ability to generate interest and excitement, inspire others, gain consensus through influence, and pivot when warranted

  • Ability to effectively communicate and create strong working relationships with account leadership, account teams, clients and other external contacts, account based marketing team members, marketing leadership, and other Deloitte stakeholders across the globe

  • Ability to pivot to keep pace with fluid priorities; ability to manage multiple and complex priorities

  • Strong written communication skills; able to craft bespoke client-facing communication materials

  • Technical and digital skills, including data analytics, to facilitate the use of innovative technology to amplify marketing efforts and develop actionable insights

  • Demonstrated abilityto think beyond the last mile of distribution, to be open to the art of the possible, and engage with client teams at the strategic level

  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills; flexibility and adaptability

  • Ability to make connections in a highly matrixed and global environment, with an eye towards integration

  • Strong, courageous leader with demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse and dispersed teams

  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to deliver innovative solutions
