Senior Analyst - US Risk and Brand Protection - State Regulatory Matters
A senior analyst on the State Regulatory Matters team will gain a deeper understanding of the state regulatory environment for public accounting firms. This role requires preparation of state regulatory filings, maintenance of related files, and coordination of related tasks across multiple Deloitte enabling areas. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with State Regulatory leadership and manage a variety of activities within the state regulatory arena with the objective of maintaining our firm licenses to practice public accounting in good standing. The senior analyst will have opportunities to build relationships with Deloitte professionals across the various businesses and enabling areas.
Responsibilities include :
Preparation of state regulatory filings for the State Boards of Accountancy and Secretaries of State
Management of daily activities to maintain Deloitte's firm licenses to practice public accountancy in good standing.
Compile internal state regulatory data and synthesize results into concise reports for leadership.
Analyze data related to state regulatory and professional matters. Synthesize results into concise reports for leadership
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree Required
Proven experience with managing and completing multiple concurrent tasks in a high-paced environment
Ability to work effectively with other teams, including virtually
Excellent organizational and process improvement skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong competency with Microsoft Office Excel and Word
Paralegal preferred, but not required
Experience in the arena of state accountancy regulation helpful, but not required
