Responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data to advance and enable the Department's key mission outcomes.
In this role, the Business Analyst (BA) will support:
All phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions to the development of functional requirements.
The BA will engage with anticipated end-users, to understand the analysts' current business processes and pain points.
The BA will document how the custom analytic application will address the analysts' pain points and deliver value to the analysts by creating artifacts such as process flows that are defined for the team.
The BA will help the government prioritize requirements and develop a consensus about the functionality that will be delivered in the Minimal Viable Product (MVP).
The BA will assist the technical development team, by helping the technical team lead develops Jira tickets and will support functional testing of the application and delivery to the end users.
Core Hours for Position: 10AM-3PM
Hybrid Model operating off of A and B weeks:
A Week: 5 days fully remote
B Week: 3 Onsite - the rest will be fully remote

Bachelor's degree required - experience able to be substituted in lieu of education
Active TS/SCI, or TS w/ SCI eligibility required
Due to the onsite requirement for the role - candidate must be located within commuting distance to Washington D.C.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Experience working with Agile (Agile 101)
Ability to process documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Understanding of Jira tickets - individual will assist the technical team develop Jira tickets and will support functional testing of the application and delivery to end users
Ability to support functional testing of the application and delivery to the end users
Must be able to effectively communicate changes and patches to varying level individuals to include multiple agencies, Directors, Clients and Stakeholders
Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP)
