Looking for a professional who can support the Growth & Offerings - Pursuits group of the Audit & Assurance practice with gathering, analyzing, and communicating competitive intelligence to improve growth performance and win new audit business. Candidates would leverage strong analysis, project management, communication, and writing skills. Seeking a quick learner who enjoys working across multiple teams, sharing new and innovative ideas, distilling information into actionable messaging, and developing compelling, creative content. Candidates should have intellectual curiosity and strong project management skills. Would be expected to quickly understand the Audit & Assurance practice of Deloitte and the lifecycle of pursuits.
Work you'll do
As a senior specialist in Deloitte & Touche LLP, a subsidiary of the Deloitte US Firms, you will contribute to the growth and development of the Audit & Assurance practice in a variety of ways.
Create custom analyses, draft strategic messaging, and design graphics for pursuit teams to leverage in pursuit proposals and other meeting deliverables
Synthesize data into actionable findings to help feed audit growth strategies and competitive intelligence efforts
Collect and analyze competitive intelligence from a variety of sources to identify key marketplace trends to shape pursuit tactics and messaging
Develop and create insightful and well-presented research on the competitive audit marketplace, mining quantitative and qualitative data from a variety of internal and external sources
Assist with the development of tools/resources to support pursuit teams in selling audits
Share findings with key stakeholders using strong verbal communication and analytical skills
Present intelligence on competitor behaviors and tactics to internal, marketplace leaders
Identify additional sources for gathering competitive information and collaborate across businesses
Coordination and administration of various key initiatives, including interaction with Audit & Assurance partners and practitioners
Respond to ad-hoc requests as needed
Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing, Communications, Business, English or a related business field
Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising professional judgment
Experience working independently with minimal supervision and guidance
Intellectual curiosity and ability to "get smart quick" on a wide variety of topics
Understanding of business development concepts, strategies of professional services organizations, and different types of business structures
Excellent project management skills - ability to scope, plan, execute, and deliver projects
Strong reviewing skills and attention to detail
Should be adept in handling ad-hoc requests related to research and content creation; can handle ambiguity well
Good data visualization skills and ability to present analysis in intuitive graphical and tabular formats
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Team player with experience collaborating within virtual teams
- Strong design skill
This position is part of a team of professionals focused on creating content and messaging for pursuits, leading programs, deploying resources to support pursuits, and collecting and sharing competitive intelligence to inform pursuit tactics and win new audit and assurance business for the firm. The team regularly interacts with partner leaders and audit practitioners in executing its mission as well as reports to firm leadership.
