Deloitte Senior Software Engineer with Polygraph in Baltimore, Maryland

Work you ll do:

The Software Engineer designs, develops, sustains, and operationally supports data information and analytic solutions. The primary focus is to develop and support presentation tools that focus on querying analytics and repositories in a unified mode. Solutions include; processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 15 years of software development experience

  • Experience coding in one or more of the following languages; C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript (AngularJS, Backbone, EXTJS, JQuery, Node), Groovy, Scala, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, HTML5, XHTML or XSL

  • Experience developing in one or more frameworks including; Spring, Struts, Flex, Grails, Hibernate, J2EE, or .Net

  • Experience scripting in Perl, Ruby, or Python

  • Operating System experience to include Windows, Unix, Linux, Sun Solaris, or Cent OS

  • Experience using ALM and development tools such as Maven, Git, Gitlab, JMeter, JUnit, Jenkins, Maven, JIRA, Confluence, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Microsoft Visual Studio

  • Database development in SQL and NoSQL databases including; Sybase, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo DB, or Berkeley DB

  • Agile systems development experience (e.g. Scrum, XP, Lean, Kanban).

  • Development of web service architectures and RESTful exposure of data (REST, SOAP, WSDL)

  • Experience in one or more of the following; CGI Scripting, Comet, Alfresco

  • Experience with Apache Software to include; Lucene, Tomcat, Casandra, Hadoop

  • Understanding and implementation of cloud architecture/technologies, N-tier, distributed and microservices architectures, and containerization (Docker).

  • TS-SCI FSP clearance required
