Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Consult clients and consulting teams on most relevant tools/techniques to solve client issues and exceed client requirements

  • Plan, manage, and lead projects teams to deliver solutions in accordance to service level agreements

  • Manage, organize, and maintain goals established for project deliverables

  • Demonstrate accountability to successfully realize client goals

The US Cloud Engineering Offering focuses on enabling our client's end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of Cloud Strategy and Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development & Integration, Cloud Migration, and Cloud Infrastructure & Managed Services. Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility, resilience and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients toward a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions, Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.

QualificationsRequired

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

  • 6+ years of proven experience as a AWS System Administrator and/or Linux Administrator

  • Hands on experience on setting up AWS network, compute, RDS, CloudWatch, SNS, SES services.

  • Good understanding of VPC peering, VPC endpoints and other network fundamentals.

  • Experience in Deploying and managing scalable systems with high availability on AWS

  • Experience in managing security of the systems - AWS WAF, Shield is a must.Strong exposure to Redhat Linux and AWS Cloud environments

  • Experience working in a Linux and AWS Cloud environment

  • Strong understanding of routers, switches, provisioning, firewalls, and security

  • Deep understanding of rules, policies, ports, blocks, and VPN technologies

  • Travel up to 20% annually (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred

  • AWS SysOps Admin Certification
