Deloitte Manager, National Finance Business Partner - Consulting in Baltimore, Maryland
The Finance Business Partner (FBP) organization sits within Deloitte's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization. FBPs are organizational catalysts who provide financial analysis to Deloitte's businesses and enabling area channels to enhance their decision-making and financial management. They are also strategists who develop, evaluate, and execute financial strategies.
The Consulting FBP will report to the National Consulting FBP team and will provide support to execute on and help drive key Consulting priorities, operationalize the strategy of Consulting and act as a strategic partner.
This role also entails both periodic and ad hoc reporting and analysis of Consulting results across a variety of key performance indicators.
Job Responsibilities
Partner with team members to help provide a broad base of finance-related services to the business leaders who you support, including
Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historic and the future financial performance to the Business' leadership
Deliver reporting and analysis to support Consulting VBB leadership decision-making
Work closely with the VBB Program Lead, Project Teams, Controller Team, Consulting Finance, Project Controller Practice, Information Managers, and other support areas.
Responsible for managing all activities related to the VBB portfolio. This includes, but is not limited to:
Preparing periodic VBB Leadership reports
Reviewing individual VBB project forecasts to ensure accuracy
Facilitating the approval process for new VBB projects
Analyzing project performance and facilitating investment recovery
Partner with Delivery Excellence team to drive cost of quality reporting and analysis process
Track investment spending and work closely with budget owners to ensure accuracy of investment forecasts
Deliver a variety of ad hoc analyses and projects to deliver insights and/or process improvements to our leaders and team
Own and deliver a variety of ad hoc analyses and projects to deliver insights and/or process improvements to our leaders and team
Support initiatives to help the business in achieving its strategic objectives
Continuously improve FP&A's organizational efficiency and effectiveness by participating in internal change initiatives
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 6+ years of relevant finance experience, preferably 3+ years in a FP&A role
Experience with engagement financial management
Collaborating with stakeholders and stakeholder management
Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ 115,235 - 159,165
