The Deloitte Service Modernization team is seeking a hands-on VP, Technical Architecture to lead, create and build a tangible AI solution framework and architecture. This position is key to the delivery of technical solution architecture for successful outcome and developing the technical vision and design specifications in a hands-on leadership capacity.
You will bring your expertise of tools and technologies within the AI industry, as well as constantly having your finger on the pulse and remaining current with rapidly evolving trends. Utilizing your knowledge of tools and technologies, you will lead projects with a hands-on approach focused on highest quality of delivery possible and collaborate across teams to ensure successful solution delivery. This role calls for excellent analytical, project management, problem-solving and communication skills to convey your message to team members and other stakeholders.
What you'll do
Lead and mentor a team of technical architects and maintain responsibility for overall technology components
Build a solution architecture and solution framework working with the Functional Architect to create an optimized solution
Perform analysis of external components from third party companies for their fitment and integration into the overall solution landscape
Conduct analysis of Cloud components for designing the solution in a cost-effective way utilizing tools from Cloud when required
Create a framework working with Principal Data Architect for data flow
Work in close collaboration with Principal Data Scientist for AI/ML requirements
15+ years of experience in an Architect role, with demonstrated deep expertise in building and designing large-scale applications that involve analytics, data analysis systems and AI/ML solutions
Strong leadership capabilities with experience in collaborating and leading large teams and mentoring and engaging the team
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field is required. A Master's degree and PhD is a strong plus
Proficiency in the following:o Programming languages, like Python, C/C++, Java,o Cloud components, like Azure, OCI,o Database technologies, especially SQL/NoSQL, as well as PostGress, Cassandra, Bigtable and Cosmos DBo Data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.o Hadoop-based analytic components, such as HBase, Hive, Pig, MapReduceo Open-source big data components such as Spark, Kafka, etc.
Experience in working with operating systems, especially Linux and knowledge of Stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.
Hands on experience to create and test various POC/POT is a must
Knowledge of business domains Retail, Banking, and Healthcare is a plus
