The Team

The Consulting Learning & Development COE team focuses on a variety of development priorities that cover cross-consulting, level, and Offering Portfolio / Offering specific programs. Our work holistically enables practitioners to gain knowledge, build skills and sustain desired behavior changes with foundational focus on our core capabilities. This can include a range of solutions including developmental resources, guidance and tools, inspirational/engaging marketing and communications, formal and informal learning, and additional practitioner support.

Job Overview

Serve as a Lead Specialist for the W2DC (Welcome to Deloitte: Consulting) program and support the vision and execution of learning and development for experienced hires in consulting. W2DC is a robust onboarding program that includes multiple components, including on-demand resources, live-virtual sessions, and live, in-person programing. This role supports W2DC and is mainly focused on managing the delivery of W2DC Accelerate, our live transition acceleration program held monthly at Deloitte University (DU) - our corporate university in Dallas, TX. Due to the virtual environment of COVID-19, this program is currently offered virtually via weekly sessions in Zoom but will return to DU in January 2022. Managing Accelerate will require close partnership with our program delivery team to execute program logistics, update program content, as well as track and report program metrics. Responsible for faculty management (senior leaders/stakeholders), includes maintaining faculty staffing schedule and faculty preparation for each delivery.

Key Skillsets: This role requires someone who can excel in learning design and development, and who can confidently project manage, communicate effectively and partner with stakeholders across the business. Candidates must be able to manage up and report issues requiring support, operate with agility, and be solution oriented. Candidates must thrive in a team-oriented, collaboration-based environment where ideating and innovating to tackle big challenges are the norm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Curriculum and Program Management

  • Manage in the planning and delivery of W2DC Accelerate. You will collaborate with the Delivery team, meeting planner, Learning Design Services team, talent professionals, and senior leaders from the business to deliver the program virtually in the Fall and eventually live at Deloitte University. Support for this initiative could include, but is not limited to:

  • Advising on L&D best practices to deliver the best onboarding experience for our experienced hires

  • Collaborating across the Development COE to determine key skillsets and capabilities required for experienced hires to excel on their projects

  • Maintaining program content to address learning needs

  • Recruiting, assigning, and training facilitators to deliver program content

  • Supporting the program as it's delivered live (whether onsite at DU or virtually in Zoom)

  • Developing compelling communications to promote the program and drive registration and participation

  • Maintaining and creating on-demand content in our learning curation platform to provide self-paced, continuous learning opportunities to our participants

  • Monitoring and maintaining program metrics to track participants and facilitators for each delivery

  • Analyzing and reporting post-program evaluation data to inform key stakeholders and ongoing improvements to the program

  • Supporting our broader W2DC initiatives as required

    Stakeholder Management

  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders related to development projects

  • Provide consultative expertise to identify, research, and resolve complex problems

  • Prepare presentations and reports to support stakeholder engagement

    Resource Management

  • Peer with colleagues in the COE, vendors, Delivery Team and Learning Design Services and contractor resources for execution of various initiatives

    Operations Management

  • Lead day-to-day project management efforts, including creating project plans, preparing agendas, facilitating discussions, documenting notes and action items, and answering questions to keep projects on task and on budget

  • Demonstrate initiative in identifying areas for operational improvement, making suggestions, and driving change to gain efficiencies and improve service

  • Support cross-team operational initiatives, as needed

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree; Minimum 4 years of related experience

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

  • Strong strategic-thinking skills with an ability to collaborate with team members on best practices

  • Strong ability to influence and engage stakeholders without direct authority

  • Sound core consulting and project management skills

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
