Deloitte Project Delivery Sr Analyst in Austin, Texas

Work you'll do : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EDI X12 Operations Specialists to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience(5+ years) with HIPAA, X12 transactions, enterprise healthcare systems, and X12 testing. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare claims processing and the ability to update companion guides.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless EDI operations.

  • Work closely with operations team on daily ticket triage.

  • Update incident and defect information.

  • Prepare solution overview / summary for discussion with the business during weekly governance meetings.

  • Oversee the integration and functionality of enterprise healthcare systems involving Fee-For-Service (FFS) claims and Encounters.

  • Conduct thorough X12 testing to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Update and maintain companion guides to reflect current standards and practices.

  • Provide expertise and guidance on EDI-related issues and projects.

  • Develop and implement best practices for EDI processes and procedures.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.

  • Travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with HIPAA regulations and compliance.

  • In-depth knowledge of X12 transactions, specifically 270/271, 276/277, 835, and 837.

  • 5+ years of experience in triaging production issues involving complex scenarios.

  • 5+ years of extensive experience with enterprise healthcare systems involving FFS claims and Encounters.

  • Strong background in X12 testing and validation.

  • 5+ years of experience in updating and maintaining companion guides.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
