Product Owner/Manager - Product Architect 1 or 2

Help create new life for legacy information technology systems.

The Deloitte Application Modernization Team - specialists in converting legacy information technology systems to modern languages - is currently seeking a Product Owner/Manager on the Senior Consultant/Product Architect level. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the hottest areas in the market.

Work you'll do

The Application Modernization Studio Product Owner/Manager responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with users, stakeholders, and business to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements

• Co-develop the product vision and derive an actionable roadmap

• Analyze market needs and competitor solutions

• Collaborate with UI/UX team, product team, and product leaders to establish timeline workflows and goals

• Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and monitor the progress across all design and development stages

• Define and prioritize iterations with user stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value, aligned to product strategy

• Communicate product updates to various stakeholders

AM&I is composed of three different areas- Service Delivery & Business Design, Application Modernization & Migration and Quality Engineering

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related field or equivalent working experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant fields of Product Management (e.g. requirements engineering, concept development, product design, agile project management, communication)

• Thinking and acting by agile principles, proficiency in agile methods and processes

• Ideally, knowledge in at least one of the following fields: Software Analysis, Legacy Programming Languages, Business Rule/Process Mining, Application Modernization, State-of the art architecture, AI/ML

• Ability to present/document product-related content well (structure, visualization) across different stakeholder groups (users, clients, leadership)

Preferred: AppMod2020

• Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Passion for digital technologies and products\

• Sharp analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

• Creative thinker with strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work with peers, clients and engagement teams on project assignments

• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

• Manage multiple task assignments simultaneously

Additional Requirements:

• Limited Sponsorship : Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

• Must be willing to travel up to 50%
