Our Discovery professionals assist clients and their legal counsel collect, preserve and analyze large and disparate data to support or refute the facts and allegations of commercial investigations and complex litigation. We combine our computer forensic and investigative skills with advanced discovery labs and cutting-edge technology to offer innovative solutions to our clients' complex legal problems. Deloitte Discovery helps counsel and companies control the costs and mitigate the risks associated with the discovery process. Within our operations, Deloitte Discovery is comprised of the following Computer Forensics, Discovery Advisory Services, Document Review Services and Electronic Discovery.
Work you ll do
In 2008, the Deloitte Risk and Financial Advisory practice opened a new facility in Nashville, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work. The E-Discovery Technology Center ("EDSC") continues to increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of the Deloitte e-file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a dedicated environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join Deloitte Analytic & Forensic Technology practice and help drive the success of the technology center. Here are just some to the things you will be doing:
Lead the evaluation, integration and testing of new Electronic Discovery and/or Computer Forensic tools and technologies
Develop software tools on an as needed basis to address client requirements
Design and utilize troubleshooting strategies to resolve software problems
Responsible for leading escalated troubleshooting efforts
Analyze, design, develop, implement and maintain complex computer software systems
Develop hardware and software specifications based on business needs and architectural standards
Assess the functionality and limitations of computer related hardware and software products
Communicate with software and hardware vendors to request service regarding malfunctioning products
Research existing computer programs and analyze and approve refinements, improvements and enhancements to ensure the most efficient methods are employed
Analyze, enhance and maintain technical documentation necessary to make the systems operational and efficient
Provide responsive analysis and resolution to situations affecting system availability and/or performance
Work with Project Management Liaisons to establish tasks and level of effort for project delivery for specialized client requirements
Participate in on-call rotation The E-Discovery Technology Center is a 24x7, 365 days a year operation. The position is located in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field or commensurate work experience
5 years of experience in the IT industry.
3 years of experience in .NET / other latest web applications
3 years of experience in MS SQL
3 years of experience in Visual basic / VB.NET / C#
3-5 years of experience in Client/Server technologies
Experience in Highly available 24x7 Operational environment
Experience with Enterprise-class Computing Systems
Experience with parsing and scripting languages such as Powershell, Perl, VBscript, etc
Hands-on experience supporting and managing secure Web-based environments.
Experience with, C , Java, ASP, DOS, Windows, Linux
Extensive experience with Enterprise Microsoft Windows Operating Systems & general networking concepts as well as virtual technologies
Understanding of the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production.
Ability to multi-task, nimbleness and highly functional within a team environment
Must be adaptable to work in a varied, fast paced exciting, ever changing environment
