Agile Delivery Manager
Work you ll do
A successful Agile Delivery Manager will be someone who has a deep understanding of the different Agile frameworks, principles and delivery methods, and has demonstrated experience in applying those values and techniques on large IT projects. Characteristics of such a large IT system would include a multi-million dollar N-Tiered, in-production solution that integrates with multiple applications, interfaces with multiple external systems via web services, and is a consumer facing web based solution that is accessed by 1000s of distributed end customers. Hands-on experience writing the front-ends and back-ends of web applications and experience assisting IT projects make the successful transition from Waterfall to Agile methodology is highly desirable.
We are looking for a candidate that not only possesses the technical and project delivery experience, but is equally adept at working with clients and demonstrating that he/she understands the business issues and concerns, and work with high performing agile teams to help realize the organizational goals and improve service delivery.
On a day to day basis you will be leading and directing Agile teams to work within the project constraints and execute the product owners visions and goals. You will help to identify obstacles for the Scrum Masters and ensure all the requirements are addressed through the use of user stories and implement processes or mechanisms to validate requirements are met within the delivered working software. At an enterprise level, you will lead and manage large, complex enterprise-level projects consisting of multiple agile teams and/or requiring integration with other activities outside the scope of the agile teams.
Human Services Transformation
Our Human Services Transformation team works to help transform how our Government and Public Services clients deliver their services to customers across a variety of channels such as walk-in, mail-in, call center, and self-service applications.
We deliver large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies at the federal, state, and local government level enabling us to collaborate with clients who serve those most in need. Budget constraints paired with increased demand for human services have challenged our clients to find efficiencies, do more with less, and rethink the way they deliver services.
Minimum of five (5) years experience, applying agile principles, methods, and techniques to processes on projects. Minimum of two (2) years experience, helping IT projects transition from Waterfall to Agile methodology
Minimum of two (2) years experience writing the back-ends of modern web applications (ex. Using Django, Ruby on Rails, or Express)
Creating quality deliverable as needed by the end customer
Certification in Agile methods (ex. CSM, SAFe4)
Minimum of one (1) year of experience implementing, or performing maintenance and operations on a large health care based enterprise wide system
