Data Management Services - Senior Consultant

Deloitte Discovery's U.S. operations is comprised of the following services:

  • Legal Business Services

  • Data Remediation

  • eDiscovery Services

Work you'll do

You will work directly with Deloitte's Discovery team, the client and outside counsel to solve complex data issues. This work can take place directly at the client site or may be performed remotely from your home office or at our cutting-edge Electronic Discovery Solutions Center ('EDSC') in Hermitage Tennessee. Here are just some to the things you will be doing:

  • Execute day-to-day activities on client engagements

  • Help prepare and present oral and written reports and presentations

  • Help define resource requirements

  • Supervise and train consultants

  • Work in a hands-on capacity with Relativity and other Discovery technologies

  • Develop and maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction

  • Participate in initiatives to improve the capabilities of the practice

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of Consulting experience (Forensics, e-Discovery, data storage and/or large data sets)

  • Experience manipulating large data sets and database concepts

  • Experience with data visualization and programs such as Tableau

  • Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management

  • Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities

  • Strong ability to properly delegate work load

  • Demonstrated ability to provide services involving accounting and business consulting projects; participate in client presentations

  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

  • Ability to travel 50% (While the ability to travel up to 50% is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

Preferred:

  • Experience with natural language processing and machine learning

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask

  • Understanding of information governance and document retention

  • Ability to describe complex technical concepts and ideas in non-technical terms

  • Ability to provide strategy and operations design and implementation services

  • Experience in professional services firm preferred

  • The ability to describe complex technical concepts and ideas to in non-technical terms

  • Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities

  • Understanding of e-discovery processes and tools and systems
