Cyber Risk Data Privacy & Data Protection Technical Manager

Our data protection and privacy manager will assist our clients with the design and implementation of holistic and targeted solutions needed to meet and exceed the requirements of best practice, ethical operations, and regulation.

Work you'll do

  • Manage and design, engineer, architect, integrate, and deploy privacy and data protection tools and technologies to help clients automate their programs

  • Lead working sessions with technical stakeholders to gather requirements to establish use cases and future state architecture across their technology infrastructure

  • Perform technical integrations for global clients, often operating with a highly complex IT infrastructure

  • Execute project activities across the IT SDLC lifecycle including leading regular check-ins with clients, cross-functional team members and vendors offering off-the-shelf technologies/products

  • Coordinate with diverse group of client stakeholders to meet their unique needs in fast-paced environment

  • Work alongside practice leaders and experienced professionals gaining industry-leading insights into data privacy, data protection and cybersecurity risk management domains

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or similar Engineering disciplines

  • 4+ years of experience in software design, development, and implementation

  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of most of the following software engineering concepts/technologies:

  • JavaScript, RESTful APIs, HTTP Requests, JDBC, HTML CSS

  • SQL, NoSQL, database management concepts

  • API management tools such as Apigee, Postman

  • Agile/Scrum methodology to build and rollout complex softwaresolutions

  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% - 75%

  • Demonstrated ability to build stakeholder relationships and excellent communication skills

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or similar Engineering disciplines

  • 1+ years of experience with implementation of privacy solutions such as OneTrust, BigID, WireWheel, Securiti.ai

  • 1+ years of experience with integrating applications with security analysis tools like security information and event management (SIEM), or security orchestration and automated response (SOAR)

  • Familiarity with micro-services architecture; hands-on experience a plus

  • Understanding of privacy program domain topics such as data inventory, data subject rights, consent and preference management, privacy assessments, incident response, etc.

  • Understanding of cybersecurity domain topics such as data encryption, network architecture, vulnerability management, access controls, logging and monitoring, etc., particularly as they relate to software development and system integration

  • Certifications in one or more of the following: CIPP, CISSP, CPDSE, CIPT, Agile/Scrum Master

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, MS Azure, GCP; certification a plus

  • Understanding of Ad-Tech / Mar-Tech ecosystem, frameworks, tools, and solutions
