Work you ll do

The SAP Enterprise Platforms and Technologies Sr. Manager I is responsible for providing direction to offshore team (e.g. India) and manager/supervisor. Your responsibilities include directing activities related to the SAP Infrastructure System administration including policies, control, monitoring, installation, configuration, and maintenance for offshore team (e.g. India).

Your responsibilities will include leading and participating in technical support efforts. You will help to lead during technical assistance calls (TAC), technology war / situation rooms and technical planning sessions. You will help to ensure teams adhere to established policies and ensuring business critical SAP systems are stable and perform beyond defined guidelines/requirements.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Drives improvements in overall operations. Ensures SAP system efficiency and monitors safety of information.

  • Works with leadership to define the strategic direction of the firms SAP System Infrastructure.

  • Provide direct support to development teams and QA teams.

  • Technical Support of SAP systems and related environments.

  • Monitor and upgrade Databases (Oracle 11g), support and upgrade SAP software

  • Provide DB / SAP engineering, project participation and project leadership.

  • Create standards and best practices following ITIL guidelines, capacity planning, and integration with Deloitte technical support teams in multiple geographical locations.

  • Responsible for establishing and executing business recoveries and procedures.

  • Able to implement processes to continue to improve operational stability.

  • Work with vendors to build technology roadmaps, evaluate products or solutions and recommend direction based on annual ITS objectives.

  • Limited / Occasional travel to conferences, training, Deloitte locations in US and India.
