Then we re looking for talent like you to join our Pursuit Management team!What you'll do Deloitte Services LP is currently searching for a Pursuit (Proposal) Manager who will work within our Market Development organization in supporting the pursuit of new business. This pursuit management professional will be responsible for leading the development of State Government-focused pursuit strategies and persuasive deliverables that differentiate and create a competitive advantage for our State Government teams. Required competencies include project management, sales/marketing strategy, messaging, and overall communications skills. Responsibilities include the following: In accordance with specific targeted objectives, guide proposal teams in developing and refining a strategy for the pursuit process. This role involves acting as a sales consultant from pre-proposal to oral presentation stages, applying targeting/sales principles to identify win themes, creating compelling messages, brainstorming solutions to challenges, and identifying benefits for clients.Manage specific projects, including - but not limited to - proposals and pursuit deliverables. Collaborate with State Government client service professionals, graphic design team, marketing professionals, and fellow pursuit consultants to ensure on-time completion and a high level of quality.Assume ownership for the development of focused proposal language relating to client's expectations and our organization's differentiators/competitive advantages.Help with persuasive messages based on information provided from research profiles, meetings with proposal team members, direct meetings with client staff and management, and knowledge of organization offerings. Collaborate with graphic design team to develop visual themes that support key messages and appropriately address target audience.Encourage interaction among core proposal team members and recommend the involvement of additional professionals with specific technical and industry expertise to provide a well-rounded solution to address the client's need, as appropriate.Act as the central point for proposal development process including evaluation of requirements, gathering raw proposal materials from service delivery team members, transforming and consolidating team member input into clear and effective responses, and complying with all solicitation response requirements. Manage and coach a large team of professionals on oral presentation skills.
