Work You ll DoProvide technology-enabled consulting services to clients through application support and solution implementation. Deliver components of client engagements that identity, design and implement business intelligence (BI) solutions for large companies. Evaluate the technological needs of client, develop customized applications and draft technical design documentation. Define the scope of client engagements and assess resource allocation. Lead the team in production support activities for the maintenance of legacy applications. Oversee the full application of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application design, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validations, triage of defects and change requests. Provide production support, application maintenance and system enhancements by monitoring system health, bug fixing reported production issues and working on building new features to support state mandate requirements using tools, including ServiceNow, quality center, JIRA, expeditor, endeavor, Rational Team Concert, File-AID and Strobe. Lead joint design sessions and requirements elicitation sessions with business clients regarding the new initiatives to rollout new commercial products, implement state mandate initiatives and enhance system capabilities for better user experience. Work with teams across various applications to develop the design of the new product rollout by conducting requirement sessions, design solutions, technical reviews and preparing test cases using use case diagram, data flow diagrams, flow charts and JIRA. Perform assessments of the current system and business architecture to transform application from the mainframe legacy system to new technologies and migrate business rules to move table driven approaches and modernization initiatives. Conduct daily stand up meetings for team members to discuss and resolve issues and weekly status meetings with clients to review application stability, critical incidents and the status of ongoing project initiatives. Identify performance improvements and providing technical solutions on migrating provider specific information from IMS to DB2 and resolve long running job issues by estimating project efforts and planning resource allocation for each release.
