Deloitte consulting llp seeks a project delivery manager, enterprise operations, oracle, government & public services in atlanta, georgia and various unanticipated deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Driving business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services to maximize performance of the human resource (hr) function through leading g-edge systems and processes for the full suite of oracle software solutions, including delivering components of engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and business solutions for large companies. Overseeing the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures. Contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies and aspects of the proposal development process. Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. N functioning as integrator between business needs and technology solutions and helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs. Driving and supporting hr technology implementations through planning, defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, process design, configuration, prototype, user acceptance testing (uat), and testing custom technology solutions. Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources, and monitoring project progress. Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams, and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design (goad) techniques. 80% travel required nationally. Telecommuting permitted.



Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in business administration, accounting (any), or a related field and (5) years of progressive related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept 3 years of study towards a bachelor's degree and 6 years of related work experience. Must also have 5 years of progressive experience involving each of the following:

  • Leading implementation and support for oracle fi-gl (general ledger), project accounting, fi-ar (accounts receivables), federal financials, fi-ap (accounts payable) and purchasing modules of oracle fi (financials);

  • Developing oracle sla (subledger accounting), fi-gl functionality, and data structure for software solutions;

  • Calibrating and balancing differences between sla and gl detected during accounts reconciliation process;

  • Utilizing oracle u.s. federal financials as it relates to budgetary accounting and its relationship to proprietary accounting;

  • Preparing oracle sub-ledger (fl-ap,fi-ar), and general ledger (fl-gl) modules for software solutions;

  • Developing data migration using oracle fl database table structure;

  • Designing and developing custom programs for general ledger & sub-ledger modules, to meet data requirements, utilizing pl sql packages and sql scripts;

  • Coordinating integration and uat testing, logging defects and retesting data, and utilizing hp quality center (formerly mercury qc); and

  • Creating resolutions via data fixes, including oracle patches and toad for oracle.

  • 80% travel required nationally.
