Position Overview

The Product Manager for Cloud Migration Software is responsible for technical execution of the Cloud Migration product suite from Deloitte s recent acquisition of ATADATA. ATADATA s platform contains a suite of modules that provide key functionality in the planning, migrating, and protecting of enterprise workloads. See full ATAData product suite here. This role will report to the VP of Product Management and work closely with the Product Development teams in leading ongoing releases of the existing and next-gen product suites and bringing enhancements and new releases to market.

This is a hands-on role that will include all aspects of Product Management including researching/writing stories, working with UI/UX on design, working with the Product Development teams on implementation/technical details, doing demo s to stakeholders, tracking sprints/releases, etc. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate the business is growing rapidly and we are making major investments in new technologies, content, and service offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Product Management: Help develop a multi-year product roadmap under the leadership of the CPO for cloud transformations in alignment with the strategic goals of Technology practice, Cloud Engineering Service Line and the Cloud Market offerings. You will work with Product Development to define product release and technical requirements.

  • Business Development: This role will partner with the CPO to develop new ideas for product enhancements as they relate to cloud transformations based on industry experiences and contacts with project teams and clients. This role will need a unique blend of business and technical savviness, big picture vision, understand unsolved problems in the target market, and find innovative solutions.

  • Delivery: Work closely with the ATADATA product development team, deliver on product development, and release cycles with a globally distributed team. This role with work closely with development team and ATADATA leadership in building out a strategic roadmap and then executing work streams to deliver the roadmap using agile frameworks.

Work you ll do

  • Work closely with the CPO to understand and execute the vision/roadmap set by leadership by working directly with the product teams, both domestic and offshore

  • Develop product strategies, roadmaps, and product design starting at the high-level Epic view and break them down granularly down to the Story view

  • Generate product positioning, key differentiators and other customer-facing messaging

  • Work closely with the Delivery team to understand real-world customer requirements, problems, challenges and then incorporate them into the product roadmap

  • Support the pursuit and client services team in completion of proposals, ensuring the product is represented in both a pre-sales and post sales capacity

  • Help lead customer-based user-groups and forums using in-person, teleconference, and on-line communication mechanisms

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree required. Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields preferred.

  • 6 years of web-based software Product Management experience; Enterprise-level/SaaS product experience a big plus

  • Working knowledge/expertise in agile methodologies and understanding the value of each of the agile artefacts

  • Demonstrated experience in leading new product introduction or the delivery of IT software systems in IT application discovery and migration

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations, with the ability to drive client discussions

  • Excellent teamwork skills. Demonstrated ability to work with offshore teams

  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), cloud migration, cloud migration discovery, profiling, migration, cloud security and operations technologies with strong expertise in developing cloud migration roadmaps is a big plus

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in with .Net applications and understanding of .Net frameworks

  • Working knowledge of agile tools like JIRA/TFS/Rally, collaboration tools like Confluence, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, etc.

  • Experience working in a services environment

  • Experience with being part of a customer facing functional group including senior executives, sales, marketing, research, client support and member success to define, develop and launch new products

  • Developed in-depth Market Requirement Specifications and Product Requirement Specifications

  • Developed and managed both content and technology aspects of the product
