Leader of Hybrid Finance Center of Excellence (Senior Manager)
Deloitte has newlycreated a Hybrid Finance COE that provides financial oversight for the Firm sportfolio of Hybrid businesses. Hybridsare offerings that combine Deloitte s traditional professional servicesofferings with IP-based products or content to create additional customervalue. This leader will focus onproviding Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) support for Hybrids aswell as support for the Order to Cash process.
This leaderreports to Deloitte s National FP&A COE Leader and will provide financialsupport across all of Deloitte s businesses which includes Consulting,Advisory, Tax and Audit. The role willlead the hybrid and investment COE teams as well as work closely with financebusiness partners, investment owners, Hybrid business owners, and Deloitte sCFO and executive leadership.
As Hybrids have adifferent business model (i.e., recurring revenue model) than Deloitte straditional services businesses, the Hybrid Finance team provides the Firm sportfolio of Hybrid businesses with financial support tailored to Hybridsincluding:
Developing standardized financial reporting frameworks toensure a consistent approach is used when monitoring Hybrid businessperformance across the Firm
Defining and implementing KPIs and metrics to provideinsight into Hybrid business performance
Driving a standardized approach for the development offinancial plans for Hybrids
Partnering with other teams in Finance and Technology toensure the Firm s reporting systems are providing the appropriate functionalityfor Hybrids
Managing the Order to Cash process and systems for theFirm s Hybrid businesses
Qualifications and Experience
At least 10 years of successful finance leadership experience with a heavy focus on FP&A, Bachelor s degree or equivalent in finance, accounting or related discipline. Master s Degree in Business Administration preferred.
Financial leadership experience including:
Advising CEOs/GMs on the development of high-growth businesses
Serving as financial leader for growth and new businesses
Advising operating teams on key operating assumptions and drivers of their businesses including pricing, growth spend, new product development, new market expansion, etc.
Building and leading high-performance finance teams
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence internal and external senior executives
Strong organization, written and verbal communication skills and ability to prioritize in the face of multiple project demands with focus on critical details
Conflict management skills including the ability to work with and resolve conflicting needs and requirements
Strong interpersonal leadership skills and ability to commit, influence, motivate, and successfully manage teams while working in a matrix or dotted line management structure and with teams that are not direct reports
Strengths in problem solving, issue resolution, and the ability to work in deadline driven environment
Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas
Passion for driving innovation and growth
Comfort with large complex organizations requiring collaboration across organizational boundaries
Ability to travel up to 25%. While 25% oftravel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel hasbeen suspended until further notice
Must be legally authorized to work inthe United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any timein the future
