Evaluation Specialist - Manager

Work you ll do

As a Deloitte Consulting Evaluation Specialist,you will:

Provide technical input and guidancefor the planning and implementation of large scale, multi-year, multi-siteprogram evaluations using mixed methods approaches

Identify advanced and innovativeprogram evaluation approaches to enhance the robustness and utility ofevaluation findings

Participate in technical delivery ofevaluation tasks, including but not limited to the development of indicators,development of data collection tools, conducting data collection and analysis,and report writing

Establish, monitor, and revise workplans and budgets for client projects and support contractual reportingrequirements

Manage day-to-day activities of programevaluation teams, including defining scopes of work, developing guidance tomaintain technical integrity of the work and deliverables, and overseeing thequality of deliverables

Facilitate client and stakeholdermeetings, webinars, and workshops

Contribute to proposal developmentthrough technical writing, recruiting personnel, and participating in internalfirm initiative to grow business

Develop technical manuscripts forpublication

Support personnel development andcareer advancement

The team

The Organization Transformation practice is abouttransforming the organization (and the benefits providers that serve them) tosupport its business strategy. This involves helping our clients move fromwhere they are today to where they need to be in the future. It could includechanging the organization s culture, modernizing specific functions,re-designing the organization structure, and will require a combination ofchange management actions to execute the transformation. To enable our success,it will be critical to use data and insights to inform better ways of workingtogether.

Qualifications

Required:

Master s degree

7 years of evaluation experience

Experience with research methods & research and evaluations studydesign

Experience with qualitative data collection, data analysis andmanipulation

Experience with survey development and administration & surveyanalysis

Experience with report design, training and workshop facilitation

Experience with client relationship & management and core consultingskills

Experience with government policy evaluation

Experience in team management

Expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the needfor employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred

Prior consulting experience with demonstrated experience managing largegovernment contracts

Academic training and 7 years of experience in health services researchand evaluation methods, including both quantitative and qualitative methods

Training and practical experience in quantitative and qualitative datacollection, data analysis, and report writing

Experience in designing and conducting multi-site, prospectiveevaluation studies

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

Demonstrated experience managing large and diverse team structures

Prior work experience with the Centers for Disease Control andPrevention or other US Department of Health and Human Services agencies

Strong writing and communication skills

Client management and meeting facilitation skills

Demonstrated ability to write successful technical proposals and managethe proposal development process

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Some travel may be required (While travel may be required for the role,due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
