Work You ll Do

As a SummerScholar, you ll be assigned to a client project and will collaborate with otherDeloitte team members to help dynamic organizations tackle their complexproblems and drive tangible results. You ll assist in a variety of activities onclients projects and help make presentations that communicate our findings andoptions in an easy-to-understand, visually attractive way. Bring yourcreativity and innovative problem-solving skills to take on a variety offinance, human capital,strategy, and other operations challenges.Youshould have strong analytical andcritical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems andcommunicate findings. During your internship, you ll broaden your consultingand leadership skills while developing your network of fellow students andDeloitte practitioners.

Summer Scholars will work withDeloitte and client teams on possible activities such as the following:

  • Architect enterprise, and operating model strategies for finance andhuman capital organizations

  • Advise clients on how to grow, integrate, andfundamentally evolve their organizations

  • Strengthen client relationships and developstrategies that leverage digital technologies and human centered design

  • Transformthe heart of the organization and advise clients on standardized proceduresand tools for increased efficiency

  • Developstrategic capabilities for core support functions

Required Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the needfor employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future and ability toobtain a U.S. Security Clearance

  • Junior standing in a full-time academic program with a target graduation date between December 2020 and June 2021

  • Pursuing a bachelor s degree in business, engineering, technology, math,economics, analytics, liberal arts, or a related field

  • Strong academic track record (recommendedminimum GPA of 3.2)

  • Availabilityto participate in the Summer Scholar Program full-time for 8 weeks from June toAugust 2020

  • Ability to travel 80-100%

  • Locations: Sacramento and Atlanta
