Work you ll Do

As a Manager within our Finance & Enterprise Performance team, you will:

  • Be responsible for project(s) financials including development of financial plans

  • Organize and deliver financial consulting services on a cross-section of complex projects

  • Actively participate in the development of business and vendor relationships

  • Focus on managed revenue targets as well as achieving quarterly or yearly sales objectives for new business

  • Lead business development initiatives to grow the Finance team and Federal practice

  • Manage resources and budget on client projects.

  • Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process

  • Manages day-to-day interactions with clients and internal Deloitte team

  • Displays both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues

  • Displays leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions

  • Provide counseling/coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff

  • Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process

  • Review of existing and in progress code, workflows, configurations or report layouts

  • Provide insight and recommendations on in progress or emerging requirements and design documents

  • Discuss and validate existing configurations against designs and recommend improvements or changes as necessary/appropriate

Finance & Enterprise Performance

Our Finance & Enterprise Performance team works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We advise, implement and deliver as-a-service solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or other business-related field

  • 6 years of relevant consulting or industry experience in financial analysis, transformation or strategic initiatives

  • 2 years in a technical or functional lead role

  • Experience mentoring and coaching others

  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

  • Experience managing senior-level client relationships

  • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)

  • Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience

  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required Security Clearance for this role

  • Well versed in IBM TRIRIGA

Preferred:

  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

  • Experience with cost transformation initiatives

  • Fleet or Asset Management experience

  • Data Analytics (Excel, Tableau, and/or Access)

  • Business Process Reengineering (BPR)

  • Business Process Mapping

  • Financial Management/Understanding
