Work you ll do

As a Transformation Manager, you will:

Work with C-suite clients and/or heads of mission and mission-support business units to structure and drive complex, large-scale transformation programs across the full life-cycle of change, including

o Assessment of internal and external trends representing mission threats or opportunities

o Future-state vision and strategy development

o Operating model and organizational design

o Transformation program planning and design

o Implementation planning

o Transformation management, including transformation governance and decision-making

o Leadership and key internal and external stakeholder alignment

o Organization and workforce diagnostics

o Change and transition readiness

Work with client account teams and their clients to shape, win, and lead transformation opportunities

Work with broader Deloitte practices to bring the best of Deloitte functional and industry capabilities to transformation efforts

Be a thought leader in government and public sector transformation through publications, public speaking, and related eminence activities

Train and grow the next generation of Public Sector transformation experts through recruitment, training, and mentorship of junior staff

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in government, business or a related discipline

Master s Degree in business, public administration, public policy, or related discipline preferred

10 years of relevant commercial or government consulting experience focused on strategy, strategic planning, operating model redesign, business process redesign, technology strategy, data analytics, or related topics

Experience mentoring and coaching others

Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Experience managing senior-level client relationships

Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)

Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience

Preferred:

Experience delivering leading industry and government consulting methods, tools, and approaches in a government/public-sector context

Understanding of and enthusiasm for strategy, transformation, data driven analyses, emerging technologies, leadership, and other management and organizational trends and innovations impacting today s government/public sector leaders

Experience leading and working with multi-disciplinary teams
