Deloitte Strategic Communications Specialist in Arlington, Virginia

Work you’ll do

As a Project Delivery Analyst within our practice you will:

  • Coordinate communications with internal customers, management, and external customers.

  • Integrate disparate streams of information from across the enterprise to develop effective communication, relationships, and products.

  • In close coordination with the customer, assist with preparation of speakers notes, speeches, talking points and other preparatory material for Division/Sub-Division officials.

  • Develop, coordinate, and manage communication events that support awareness-building and Division/Sub-Division’s mission(s).

  • Design and develop assorted communication products, which may include “Case for Action” documents, white papers, fact sheets, presentations, electronic newsletters and articles, Web pages/Web sites, portals, electronic presentations, videotapes, and CDs.

  • Strategic Analysis and Planning, General Knowledge of Change Management Principles and Best Practices.

Our Strategic Risk Team provides analysis and assessment of critical risk factors that can impact our client’s operations and overall environment. We help our clients navigate these complex risk factors in the areas of enterprise risk management, geospatial analytics, crisis management, and grants management.



  • 4 years of experience coordinating and managing communications, for internal and external customers

  • Must have experience independently drafting communication products, including stakeholder engagement plans

  • Must have experience conducting independent research, producing written reports and products, and preparing and briefing presentation materials

  • Must have experience building, managing, and updating website, Microsoft Teams channels, and SharePoint

  • Must have experience tracking progress, updating lessons learned reports, independently providing recommendations for improvement, and implementing approved recommendations

  • Must have experience drafting talking points and preparing leadership for briefings

  • Must have experience with event management through all phases of an event

  • Experience with Technical Writing

  • Experience with Knowledge Management and Change Management

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employee sponsorship, now or anytime in the future
