Work you’ll do

As a Consultant within our practice you will:

  • Coordinate communications with internal customers, management, and external customers.

  • Integrate disparate streams of information from across the enterprise to develop effective communication, relationships, and products.

  • In close coordination with the customer, assist with preparation of speakers notes, speeches, talking points and other preparatory material for Division/Sub-Division officials.

  • Develop, coordinate, and manage communication events that support awareness-building and Division/Sub-Division’s mission(s).

  • Design and develop assorted communication products, which may include “Case for Action” documents, white papers, fact sheets, presentations, electronic newsletters and articles, Web pages/Web sites, portals, electronic presentations, videotapes, and CDs.

  • Have General Knowledge of Strategic Analysis and Planning, Change Management Principles and Best Practices.

Our Strategic Risk Team provides analysis and assessment of critical risk factors that can impact our client’s operations and overall environment. We help our clients navigate these complex risk factors in the areas of enterprise risk management, geospatial analytics, crisis management, and grants management.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2 years experience in a communications specific role, providing direct support to internal management and leadership

  • Must have experience working with a variety of stakeholders, receiving input from all, and developing a cohesive communications plan and strategy representing each stakeholder's equities

  • Must have experience drafting talking points, speeches, and other written products for leadership, as well as experience preparing leadership for engagements and briefings

  • Must have experience with event management through all phases of an event, such as scheduling an event to capturing lessons learned at the conclusion of an event

  • Must be familiar with ChangeManagementprinciples

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Bachelors degree

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at anytime in the future
