Work you’ll Do

As a Consultant within our GPS team, you will:

  • Coordinate communications with internal customers, management, and external customers.

  • Integrate disparate streams of information from across the enterprise to develop effective communication, relationships, and products.

  • In close coordination with the customer, assist with preparation of speakers notes, speeches, talking points and other preparatory material for Division/Sub-Division officials.

  • Develop, coordinate, and manage communication events that support awareness-building and Division/Sub-Division’s mission(s).

  • Design and develop assorted communication products, which may include “Case for Action” documents, white papers, fact sheets, presentations, electronic newsletters and articles, Web pages/Web sites, portals, electronic presentations, videotapes, and CDs.

  • Provide Strategic Analysis and Planning

  • Have General Knowledge of Change Management Principles and Best Practices.

  • 3 years of experience with coordinating communications for a variety of audiences, including leadership, customers, stakeholders, and internal staff.

  • Experience building artifacts related to strategic communications, including a stakeholder engagement plan.

  • Experience drafting talking points for leadership, and preparing leadership for speaking engagements.

  • Eperience building and updating website portals, such as a Teams page or SharePoint.

  • Experience with documenting best practices, providing recommendations on current business processes, and implementing new processes.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employee sponsorship, now or anytime in the future


  • Prior professional services or government consulting experience

  • Previous experience with multichannel customer interaction capabilities for both external and internal customer-facing operations
