The Team
The Marketing Technology & Transformation (MT&T) practice aligns talent, operating models, and the latest marketing technologies with data and analytics tools to plan, build, deliver, and operate end-to-end omnichannel customer experience s to drive business results for our clients . As a member of the MT&T practice, you will be part of a collaborative team of cross-functional passionate marketing technology experts, who are working at the forefront of innovation in this space across the entire Mar T ech stack .
Work You'll Do
Senior Consultants are techno-functional resources on Deloitte's Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Transformation Team, offering a powerful understanding of the SFMC ecosystem and broader MarTech stack. They are client-facing collaborative business partners who own and lead workstreams , and deliver specific components of large, complex client engagements along with other teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
Full-lifecycle implementations and/or implementing integrated solutions including other SFMC ecosystem technologies, cloud-based marketing solutions, integration services, and data modeling
Providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement.
Working with clients to help define use cases and prioritize based on business value and scope
Facilitating strategic conversations with clients to define and document business and technical requirements based on prioritized use cases
Performing gap analysis outlining client gaps in technology, resources, and institutional knowledge necessary to deliver and execute a successful channel rollout
Working with cross-functional teams to clearly link functional scope back to business value
Clearly define the value for our clients associated with delivering against capabilities and requirements
Work with customer(s) as well as internal teams to clearly define and document project scope, requirements and integration points as they relate to solution implementation.
Developing key content and assets for project workshops for functional and scope priority alignment
Developing business requirement documentation and project deliverables
Maintaining working knowledge of end-to-end solution, with the ability to identify , document, communicate, and mitigate risks and issues as project progresses
Collaborate with onshore and offshore teammates
Support technical and functional testing of the implemented solution like SIT and UAT
Identify partnership opportunities and capitalizes on "add-on" sales opportunities across projects
Qualifications
Required:
Four-Year Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
4+ years hands-on platform experience on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and/or other SFMC ecosystem platforms ( i.e. Audience Studio, DMP, Datorama, Interaction Studio, etc.) and fluent in articulating Salesforce Marketing Cloud product capabilities to both business and technical audiences
SFMC Email Specialist , Consultant, or Admin Certification or willingness to complete
Proven project management experience supporting end-to-end marketing technology projects; implementing integrated solutions including other SFMC ecosystem technologies, cloud-based marketing solutions, integration services, and data modeling
Prior experience in a client-facing strategic role (i.e., consulting, agency) ideally within the digital marketing space
Knowledge of Agile and various methodologies, frameworks, organization structures, disciplines, and documentation
Functional understanding of marketing databases and/or implementation of marketing automation
Experience with performing gap analysis outlining client gaps in technology, resources, and institutional knowledge necessary to deliver and execute a successful channel rollout
Proven ability to understand the impact of technical changes, and, to articulate high level technical solutions to address business problems
Excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, resolve them quickly and know when to rely on internal resources to assist
Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills as well as strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Ability to manage in an environment of ambiguity with diverse stakeholders
Potential expected travel up to 30% (due to COVID-19, all non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred:
Project Management: Azure DevOps and/or Jira , Confluence
Desire to complete additional Salesforce certifications
Functional k nowledge of Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds , as well as other Salesforce solutions including Interaction Studio, CDP, and Datorama
Experience with other marketing technologies and analytics tools ( i.e. Adobe, Oracle, Sprinklr, Google, etc.)
