Work You ll DoThe America Pursuit Management group supports partners and pursuit teams through the development of strategic communications for Deloitte's largest and most complex national pursuits. Work closely with senior partners and client service teams in developing and executing persuasive proposals, meeting materials, and oral presentations that differentiate Deloitte in the marketplace. Responsibilities include: lead the support of proposal development, with primary focus on writing and working with partners, editors, graphic designers, and production team to produce quality documents; consult strategically with client service partners and professionals to identify client needs and key decision-makers; drive client service teams in formulating strategic, client-focused messages, align our services with client needs, and contribute to our success in the marketplace; prepare teams for pre-proposal client meetings, including development of innovative meeting materials with the Americas creative services team; work closely with pursuit project management professionals to develop timelines for the proposal process and ensure strict adherence to deadlines; actively advise pursuit teams and various pursuit leaders to develop oral presentations; act as liaison with the Americas partners, managers, and research specialists to provide pursuit teams with the full range of resources; support international knowledge management initiatives by sharing pursuit information and recommended practices with colleagues across the pursuit channel; maintain quality control of the audit pursuit process and deliver outstanding value to partners and pursuit teams; review and edit written communications based on the intended audience; guide the work of junior colleagues by communicating broader business objectives and desired outcomes; oversee work plans and resources to deliver projects within their estimated budget and timeline; recommend changes to clients' current practices to improve competitive advantage; identify and expand network to elicit information quickly; work with decided reach teams within Deloitte to build proposals for clients; utilize advance questioning techniques to help participants refine ideas; facilitate strategic dialogue to effectively identify action items and next steps to resolve matters; and respond to client inquiries, and provide additional context and background to facilitate clarity on proposals. #LI-DNI RequirementsMaster's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, International Management, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).Three years of experience performing proposal development for international projects across the Americas.Experience must include three years of:Creating proposal tools, including outlines, scheduling, and compliance matrices, conducting proposal reviews, and managing feedback and proposal changes;Writing original proposal content for non-technical proposal sections, including the preparation of, executive summaries and organizational overviews to formulate strategic direction;Participating in all phases of proposal development and project management for high-profile proposals and multiple projects simultaneously and managing deadlines;Collaborating with partners and other professionals to identify client decision-makers and client needs and to develop content and differentiators for proposals and presentations;Preparing teams for pre-proposal client meetings and presentations, including development of innovative meeting materials in conjunction with design resources;Ensuring that requests for proposals (RFPs) comply with client requirements, including performance standards, throughout the procurement process;Working with senior leadership across the Americas, and communicating and developing proposals; andPerforming strategic development of client-facing documents.In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience as stated above.Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English is required.
