Organization Transformation Manager

Work you ll do

As an Organization Transformation Manager, you will:

  • Work with C-suite clients and/or heads of mission and mission-support business units to structure and drive complex, large-scale transformation programs across the full life-cycle of change, including:

  • Assessment of internal and external trends representing mission threats or opportunities

  • Organization and workforce diagnosticsFuture-state vision and strategy development

  • Leadership and key internal and external stakeholder alignment

  • Operating model and organizational design \

  • Transformation program planning and design

  • Implementation planning

  • Transformation management, including transformation governance and decision-making

  • Change readiness

Work with client account teams and their clients to shape, win, and lead transformation opportunities

Work with broader Deloitte practices to bring the best of Deloitte functional and industry capabilities to transformation efforts

Be a thought leader in public sector transformation through publications, public speaking, and related eminence activities

Train and grow the next generation of public sector transformation experts through recruitment, training, and mentorship of junior staff

Assess functional gaps and overlaps in the organization through Organization Assessment

Assess and interpret organizational structures through Organization Design

Gauge an organization s success by identifying and measuring KPIs, otherwise known as Organization Performance

Our Government & Public Service (GPS) Organization Transformation practice helps clients with their critical organizational transformation and talent initiatives. We work across the enterprise, offering business-oriented and data-driven talent strategy, organization strategy, technology adoption, leadership alignment, culture, learning, and strategic change solutions to address the organization s transformation and talent agenda. Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources, communications, industrial and organizational development/psychology or a related discipline

Experience in Organization Assessment, Organization Design, and Organization Performance

5 years of relevant commercial or government consulting experience focused on organization and/or workforce transformation, operating model/organizational diagnostics and design, performance improvement, and related topics

3 years in a technical or functional leadership role

Experience mentoring and coaching others

Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Experience managing senior-level client relationships

Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)

Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience

Proven track record of consistently attaining managed revenue targets as well as achieving quarterly or yearly sales objectives for new business

Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role

Preferred:

Master s Degree in business, public administration, or related discipline preferred

Experience delivering commercial consulting methods, tools, and approaches in a public sector context

Understanding of and enthusiasm for digital, leadership, talent, and other management and organizational trends and innovations impacting today s public sector leaders

Experience leading and working with multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., strategy, operations, technology, human capital, etc.)
