About US Consulting Office of the CIO
The US Consulting Office of the CIO is committed developing and implementing the strategy for IT technology investments for the Consulting practice, managing the portfolio of technology projects delivered by ITS for Consulting, and representing Consulting interests in ITS and global/green dot initiatives. The CIO focuses on identifying cost and productivity improvements, supporting the development of security frameworks for IT assets and tools, increasing IT process maturity and improving overall integration. Key priorities include, but are not limited to address emerging technology needs for both in-house and third party technology such as a wide range of virtualization/hybrid work tech and software development tools; drive compliance with technology framework processes to ensure proper adoption of third party tools; rollout of common and secure product development platforms to prevent unsanctioned tool usage and offer reusable, easy to deploy components addressing the needs of various usage scenarios.
The OCIO New Tech Manager will work closely with CIO leadership and the entire CIO team to define and implement the strategy of the CIO for Consulting. Key job responsibilities include:
Lead and manage activities and projects evaluating and onboarding new technology for Consulting in close collaboration with Cyber, Risk, Legal and technology assessment teams
Assess, plan and manage the rollout of new and updated technology and software standards. Drive compliance in close collaboration with business teams
Lead and/or participate in special projects in areas such as cyber, privacy, data management and retention, software development or other general standard and compliance topics. Depending on the initiative and urgency of the request, involvement may be in a supervisory role or requires detailed, hands-on work
Identify process gaps and improvements for new technology, tighten cross-team integration and priority alignment, remove barriers, and accelerate new tech onboarding
Manage the playbook setup support and acclimation for new tech and products until support organization readiness
Develop, track and execute Get Well and Stay Well plans for technology that is non-compliant with firm standards
Network with peers and leadership across Offering Portfolios, Offerings, and Industries to horizon-scan future product needs, understand common challenges and address pain points
Work closely with the New Tech lead in the development and execution of hybrid business initiatives to seamlessly integrate hybrid teams and technology across Consulting and ITS
Partner with ITS Consulting Relationship Managers and account teams to represent Consulting's best interest in various ITS US and Global initiatives related to technology.
Support Consulting teams and professionals navigate the various ITS service offerings, technology, and tools. Resolve escalated risks and issues for planned projects and ad-hoc requests
Bachelor's Degree with 8-10 years of work experience
Client service or asset experience at a manager level preferred
Familiar with cyber security and technology standards, privacy and compliance frameworks and their potential impact on businesses. Work experience in such areas highly preferred
Very good understanding of general business operations, communication, marketing and knowledge management
Ability to provide 'big picture' view on the state of the portfolio
Ability to navigate tough issues, apply sound business judgement and bring complete picture forward to ensure best decision is made
Ability to oversee the delivery and execution of projects and initiatives of various size
Ability to help Consulting teams manage through issues, risks and change
Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products required (Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to leadership
Strong organizational and analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail required for data analysis, troubleshooting, issue resolution, reporting and communications
Ability to work in team settings or independently on multiple assignments while maintaining quality deliverables. Agile to reprioritize tasks to address urgent requests.
Ability to coordinate across many constituents and build a close network
Experience in project management, Microsoft Teams and ServiceNow a plus
Location: US-Open. Occasional travel required
