Work you ll do
As aSenior Consultant within our practice, you will:
Assistwith internal controls over accounting and financial reporting operations
Develop Corrective Action Plans based on internalcontrols testing
Participatein and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs ofthe client and contract
Reviewdeliverables for accuracy and quality
Providecoaching to junior staff
Contributeto new business proposals and proposal development
Manageown personal and professional development; seeks opportunities for professionalgrowth and expansion of consulting skills and experience

Our team helps clients prepare for financialclose, address compliance regulations, improve process and controls aroundfinancial reporting, and implement new accounting requirements. Ourpractice can provide the support organizations need with a comprehensiveapproach to tackle the most challenging accounting and financial issues thatimpact risk within an agency environment.
Mustbe legally authorized to work in the United States without the need foremployer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Abilityto obtain and maintain the required Secret clearance for this role
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ComputerScience, Engineering, Mathematics, or Information Systems
Background in Federal Managers' Financial IntegrityAct (FMFIA), Manager's Internal Control Program (MICP) execution andremediation, IT controls, FISCAM, issues remediation, and audit or auditsupport
Knowledgeof Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and/or OMB Circular A-123 documentation,Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR), testing and reportingrequirements
2 years of IT Controls experience supporting governmentalorganizations and/or Fortune 500 companies
Consultingexperience in any of the following areas: business process improvement,financial management policies and procedures, financial system integrations,etc.
Familiaritywith U.S. government financial accounting systems
Certificationsincluding CISA, CPA, CDFM, CGFM, CFA
