The Deloitte Government and Public Services (GPS) teamseeks an experienced, Human Capital professional for our Department of HomelandSecurity (DHS) team.As a Senior Manager,you will focus on identifying, shaping, and delivering the full range of HumanCapital-focused capabilities to DHS including: organization transformation, employeeengagement, workforce planning/development, andtalent/leadership development.
The candidate should be an experienced and dynamicprofessional prepared to help develop winning proposal strategies for theDepartment of Homeland Security (DHS). S/he will be responsible for qualifyingand capturing major government acquisitions. S/he will lead amulti-disciplinary team that is focused on delivering innovative solutions,"Driving to Win" by melding business, management, technical and cost components.S/he should also be able thrive in ambiguous and changing environments,passionate about team development, and have experience and interest in growing abook of business.
As a Senior Manager within our Human Capital team youwill:
Organizeand deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects
Activelydevelop business and vendor relationships
Leadpursuit teams focused on new opportunities and lead major aspects of theproposal development process
Responsiblefor project(s) financials including development of financial plans
Leadday-to-day interactions with executive clients and Deloitte teams
Establishtrusted relationships with clients
Displayboth breadth and depth of knowledge related to functional and technical issuesand quickly be able to understand client s mission challenges
Providecounseling/coaching, leadership and support for delivery teams
Activelyparticipate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input andguidance into the staffing process

Bachelor'sDegree in business, human resources, communications, industrial and organizationaldevelopment/psychology or a related discipline
8 years of relevant consulting or industry experience that may include:organization design, employee engagement, change management, training,communications, strategic workforce planning, talent and leadership development
3 years in a technical or functional leadership role
Strong projectmanagement and delivery experience, including budget oversight and staffing ofproject teams
Experiencementoring and coaching others
Provenleadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-makingabilities
Experiencemanaging senior-level client relationships
Experiencepresenting to clients or other decision makers to explain ideas andcapabilities to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
Experiencewith pre-sales, proposal, and RFPs
Proventrack record of consistently attaining managed revenue targets as well asachieving quarterly or yearly sales objectives for new business
Musthave or be able to obtain a security clearance
Priorprofessional services or federal consulting experience
LawEnforcement/Homeland Security experience
CurrentDHS security clearance
