Work you ll do
As a Consultant within our Human Capital team you will:
Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work
Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports.
Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products
Assist in proposal development, as requested
Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients
Support the process redesign efforts for HR transformation initiatives to include such activities as: conducting current state assessments through stakeholder interviews, focus groups and process mapping, gathering requirements, and designing and implementing solutions
The Cross Consulting Group (CCG) team is a core component of our Human Capital practice. This group is comprised of professionals with novice to intermediate level experience, known as CCG. CCG professionals will work on projects across Human Capital to gain a breadth of experiences before aligning to a more specific specialization, such as HR Transformation (HRT), Workforce Transformation (WFT), Organization Transformation (OT), or Human Capital as a Service (HCaaS), and will focus on developing a foundational core consulting skillset. As professionals begin to specialize, they will move out of the CCG and align to a more specialized offering.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Psychology (I/O Psychology, Sociology, Information Technology, Hard Sciences with a focus on research and analysis, or other relevant field
1 years of relevant consulting or industry experience
Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools
Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role
Business process improvement, requirements gathering, and/or mapping
Proficient with stakeholder engagement
Business Process Re-engineering experience
Knowledge of business process mapping
Ability to develop process maps in MS Visio
Strong communication and analytical skills
Strong Microsoft excel skills
Ability to develop and brief executive level presentations
Lean Six Sigma Experience or certification
Experience developing or using automation software
Knowledge of Human Resources operations
Federal human resources (federal HR)
HR transformation experience
Experience with the full life cycle of identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.
Experience assessing the current state of operations, identifying improvement opportunities, developing implementation plans, and managing progress of the implemented improvements.
Experience with cross-project collaboration with teams from operations, technology, change management/training/communications, reporting and analytics, and quality assurance.
Experience with data gathering interviews, analyzing data, researching best practices, briefing executive level clients and project leadership, and developing project deliverables including MS Visio process maps and MS PowerPoint decks.
Experience with regular interaction with project leadership and client interaction.
