Work you’ll do
As a Manager within our Supply Chain Network Operations Team, you will:
Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex supply chain projects for federal health clients
Actively participate in the development of business and vendor relationships
Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process
Design and translate the corporate mission into supply chain strategies to help our clientstransform their supply chain capabilities
Drive competitiveness by reducing supply chain logistical and operational complexities
Responsible for project(s) financials including development of financial plans
Manages day-to-day interactions with clients and internal Deloitte team
Displays both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues
Displays leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions
Provide counseling/coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff
Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process
Lead business development initiatives to grow the Supply Chain team and the Government practice
Manage resources and budget on client projects
The Team
Supply Chain Network Operations
Our Supply Chain Networks team helps clients transform their value chains into competitive weapons. We drive efficiency, improve flexibility, and increase responsiveness through proactive insights and decision-making. We advise, implement, and operate transformational solutions that bring world-class supply network and operational capabilities to our clients. We provide operational know-how, digital technologies, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions to deliver unprecedented client value. Additionally, we improve operations, product, and material flow across the breadth of the value chain and create greater supply network synergy and value through M&A events.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science,Public Health, Healthcare Management,or Engineering
6 years of relevant consulting or industry experience
2 years in a technical or functional lead role
Ability to obtain and maintain the required Security Clearance
Travel up to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
Preferred:
Medical supply chain, logistics, distribution, and/or sourcing and procurementprior professional services or federal consulting experience
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree
Experience mentoring and coaching others
Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Experience managing senior-level client relationships
Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience
6 years of relevant consulting or healthcare industry experience
