Deloitte Graphic Designer in Arlington, Virginia

SLHE Graphic Designer- Top Secret Cleared

This experienced design professional with a Top-Secret Security clearancewill provide leadership in the development, design, and coordination of clientproposals, presentations and related business development design projects andmaterials. They will be responsible for managing the daily activities of theinternal graphic designers and the coordination of proposals/presentations inaddition to their own design projects. This position requires advancedexperience in multiple software packages and the ability to produce largevolumes of work consistently and accurately. They will also be responsible forcomplying with firm branding guidelines, departmental procedures and standards,internal client preferences and instructions, and mandatory solicitationrequirements. The Designer must routinely address shifting priorities,stringent deadlines, last minute requirements to accomplish tasks withinnon-negotiable client deadlines. The Designer is accountable for undertakingprescribed and independent training, on-the-job learning assignments, and otheropportunities to ensure growth and advancement in Graphic Design and their team sdevelopment. Work you ll do

As a Designer on our teamyou will:

Report to Design Team Leader as part of GPSDesign Team

Conceive of, design, and produce a full range ofhigh-impact print and digital collateral to enhance readability, draw thereader into the content and distinguish the Deloitte US Firms in themarketplace

Materials include but not limited to:infographics, presentations, proposals, etc. in print and digital formats

Provideart direction and be a strategic advisor on overall design themes

Developpresentation and template themes, ensuring a creative yet consistent look andfeel that enhances readability, draws in the reader, and adheres to andsupports the Deloitte brand, visual identity, legal guidelines, and messaging;ensure brand and visual identity compliance as needed

Ability to strategically interface andbrainstorm with senior partners regarding the visual display of information;ability to grasp the substance of business issues being communicated and thenre-articulate visual options that enhance/clarify audience understanding

Managedesign process, adjudicates/mitigates conflicts in design content

Ensureaccuracy and currency of published graphics, coordinates with US India, QA allgraphics

Demonstratethe ability to think creatively and express ideas orally and in writing;demonstrate listening and decision-making skills

Manageall document formatting, including creating and utilizing Macro EnabledTemplates in MS Word

Productionof proposals and visual aids, as required

Managecontent on SharePoint

Ensuresthat proposals adhere to RFP specifications

Interactdirectly with account staff, including executives

Provideguidance to Studio Designers as needed

Exercise judgment and project management skillto balance priorities and communicate to teams to meet and exceed projectdeadlines and commitments; keep internal clients informed of projects andprogress

Participate in initiatives for design and/orpursuit projects not related to RFP Responses

Qualifications

Required

Top SecretSecurity Clearance

Have approximately 5-8 yearsof relevant work experience

Bachelor s degree orrelated experience with preferred concentration in Marketing, Communications, Art,Business or comparable work experience

Excellent communicator both written and oral

Proficient in MS PowerPoint,Word, Excel; Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

Willingness and ability tocreate elegant, designed feel in programs such as PPT and Word that were notwritten primarily as design vehicles

Proven skills & educational training intypography, layout, composition, color theory & information design

Self-starter with strongwork ethic and ability to manage own time and take initiative

Professional client servicemanner and ability to interact with all levels of management

Speed and agility; ability to work efficientlyand effectively under pressure, developing creative design within tightdeadlines

Experience working with teams in a professionalservices or large matrixed organization

Comfortable embedding with client service teamsin war room environments to develop and design materials in real-time

Demonstrated ability to manage complex projectsand synthesize direction from many individuals

Travel required approximately 10-20% per year,as dictated by pursuit demands

Preferred,but not required:
