GPS Quality andCompliance Associate

Work you ll do

As a Qualityand Compliance Associate, you will have responsibility across multiple,concurrent projects. This position ischaracterized by shifting priorities, stringent deadlines, and occasionalevening/weekend hours to accomplish tasks. As a Quality and Compliance Associate on our team you will:

Properlyinterpret solicitation requirements governing document content and organization

Reviewdraft proposals to ensure they address solicitation requirements clearly andour response is compelling

Provideclear and effective communications

Providedocument management and controls

Workcollaboratively with GPS personnel to ensure Quality and Compliance feedback isprovided in a timely manner

Provideguidance on large, complex opportunities regarding proposal structure / outline

Effectiveuse of procedures, tools and templates

Provideaccurate and timely communications regarding document status

Ensuringquality and responsiveness of all work

Adjustto shifting priorities, stringent deadlines, last minute requirements, andoccasional evening/weekend hours to accomplish tasks within non-negotiableclient deadlines

Demonstratethe ability to bring creativity and original thinking to the framing andstructuring of proposal

Qualifications

Required

Minimum of three (3) yearsof Federal and/or State Government proposal development

Have approximately 3-4years of work experience

Bachelor s degree withpreferred concentration in Marketing, Communications, Business or comparablework experience

Excellent communicator both written and oral

A team player with anoutstanding ability to work with people at all levels, including seniorexecutives

Demonstrated abilityto influence others, from staff to senior leaders through a strong presence,thoughtful challenges, and use of sound judgment

Strong interpersonaland political skills, including aptitude for building relationships

Keen listener, withthe ability to analyze information and make sound observations andrecommendations quickly

Ability to work with graceand efficiency in a demanding, deadline-driven environment

Team-oriented with a provenability to manage multiple projects at once

Demonstrated initiative andproblem-solving ability

Attention to detail andexceptional follow-up skills

Preferred:

Training in formalcapture/proposal methodologies

Industry-wide bestpractices in proposal management

Knowledge andunderstanding of Federal / State procurement regulations and practices(including FAR and DFAR)

Editorialpractice and standards

Tools:

Proficiencyin Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
