Strategic RiskServices (SRS) Job Description- Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Services

SRS provides a platform of advisory and managed services designed to help seniorexecutives spot, assess, manage, and respond to risks and/or catastrophicunforeseen incidents that could undermine achievement of their strategic goalsand mission, or jeopardize their critical assets, reputation, funding, and/or costof operations. The practice combines the talent, knowledge, and servicedelivery of former federal and state leaders; industry, governance, compliance,and risk professionals; economists and academics; former intelligence analysts;modeling and simulation analysts; and forensic accountants. This position lieswithin Enterprise Risk Management, which is a Sub-Market Offering within SRS.

EnterpriseRisk Management (ERM) and mission oriented riskmanagement programs require a risk based approach to decision making, budgetallocation, and program management in order to address the risks that couldaffect the organization s ability to achieve its objectives. We assist federalexecutives, chief risk officers, program managers, and functional leaders indeveloping and deploying strategic risk management programs and processes thatmight include the following: assessing risk management capabilities andproviding improvement recommendations, identifying and assessing enterpriserisks, designing and implementing ERM programs and risk governance structures,establishing Chief Risk Officer (CRO) programs, providing ERM training,developing and implementing ERM processes, and managing the selection andimplementation of ERM systems.

We also provide an end-to-end capability to assist clientsin all aspects of managing risk, includinggovernance, risk data and infrastructure, measurement and reporting, and changemanagement. Our services cover all risk types including strategic, operational,compliance, reputational, project and program integrity, and security risks.Our teams combine deep knowledge of the current global political landscape withsolutions that utilize technology and analytics, which we customize dependingon the specific regulations facing our clients.

Deloitte seeks Enterprise Risk Services (ERS) Senior Consultants tosupport clients in our Federal National Security Sector.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Psychology, English or other related degrees

3 to 10 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: risk management, internal controls, strategic planning, and/or enterprise-wide performance measurement

Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives

Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience

Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools

To contribute to a team that is performing:

Development of an enterprise risk management program, including the establishment of foundational processes, governing bodies, and operating model

Integration of internal controls program and enterprise risk management programs under the new A123 Guidance

Assist in the creation of agency Risk Appetite Statements and repeatable analytical solutions to create Key Risk Indicators to monitor risks

Implementation of risk aggregation and monitoring tools (e.g. SalesForce, GRC tools such as RSA Archer, MetricStream)

Develop robust risk response plans across multiple business units

Creation and development of (repeatable/automated) analytical solutions and tools to analyze risk portfolios reporting, data management, data interpretation into key observations and trends

Desired Skills :

Knowledge of grants regulations, management, and policies and knowledge of criminal justice programs

Core competencies in enterprise risk management and supplemental internal controls experience

Understanding of how to identify, assess, prioritize, mitigate, and monitor enterprise risks

Understanding of how to leverage statistics and modeling for forecasting, risk identification

Ability to integrate government operating models of governing policies, procedures, internal controls, strategic planning, and enterprise risk management

Possess a foundation in building enterprise-wide governing bodies such as Risk Management Councils

Foundation in reporting how to slice and dice data for management reporting and decision-making

Ability to interact with C-Suite executives around risk issues and the highest levels of the organization

Experience in business development

Ability to hold or obtain Secret clearance preferred

Required Work Location and Travel requirements :

Candidates must reside in theWashington, DC metropolitan area.
