Deloitte DoD Human Resources Liaison Specialist with Active Secret clearance in Arlington, Virginia

Work you'll do
Support the Functional Managers and other stakeholders in the planning, execution, and implementation of personnel responsibilities and provide matrix liaison support for integrating HR programs and procedures among the respective functional areas within client organization. Efforts may include, but are not limited to:
a. Training Support
b. Awards
c. Performance Management
d. Staffing/Recruitment Actions
e. Organization Documents
Policy and Program Development
a. Draft documents and coordinate HR staff action packages
b. Support completion of annual HR reporting requirements
c. Maintain HR policies, documents and special program communications
d. Collecting data
e. Prepare draft responses with background data for quick-response tasking
Performance Management and Management Employee Relations
Support federal civilian performance management processes and pay pool activities that may include:
a. Performance Management
b. Pay Pool Activities
c. Special Programs
Workforce Awards Support the civilian awards program which may include:
a. Advise on employee awards programs and procedures
b. Review/edit awards nominations
c. Research, review and advertising available workforce honorary awards
d. Develop and maintain a master awards calendar
e. Collect award nominations
f. Track, process, and distribute length of service and retirement awards
g. Support the planning and execution of the annual civilian awards ceremony
h. Develop executive level HR reports and briefings, often including qualitative and quantitative analysis data
i. Revise the awards guide, including procedures and documents as necessary
Communications
a. Research, review, edit and draft various HR documents
b. Develop and maintain various HR communication tools and procedures
c. Maintain and update the HR portal sites and coordinating with Public Affairs
d. Report on internal and public website data information
e. Provide Disability Accommodation

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of HR experience
Active DOD Secret Security clearance required
Excellent customer service and time management skills
Preferred:
Federal and or DoD Human Resources experience highly desired
